Based on the UShip Cost Estimator, your offer of $425 is about double what many other shippers have charged for the weight, size, & distance. Since this is my first time using UShip and I'm in no big hurry to get the vintage refrigerator delivered (as long as I have it by the middle of December), I kindly decline your offer of $425.

I would have to contact the Seller, but I think he would be willing to store the old refrigerator until even mid-December. But it would be nice to get it here in Lexington before the middle of November. According to the UShip Cost Estimator, which I used very carefully BEFORE I EVEN BOUGHT the old refrigerator, placed the shipping cost range from a really low $171 up to $247, with most hovering right at $200. I certainly don't know if you will ship at that price, and I realize I may have to go a bit higher, but for now, it's just a thought. Thanks again! John (10/25/2009)

I will let you ship this for $220 if you can pick it up this week (any day before they close at 4:00 PM). Or...if you will be making another trip down my way after November 6th, you could pick it up the week beginning on Monday Nov 9th, for my Book It Now price of $215 BECAUSE THE SELLER says that Office Furniture Outlet will be closed the week of Nov 1 to Nov 6, but strangely the Seller says he could arrange to allow a pickup during that week of Nov 6th and get a forklift (that is if you wanted to pick it up that week or the next week for $215). It would be nice to get more bids, but so far, just 2 bids. Again, I can wait a few more weeks. I will log back in to UShip & check my e-mail later tonight Monday 26th. The Seller says he can get a forklift from another business (a machine shop next door) to move the refrigerator.
