Questions for this shipment:
Question:
hello, do you have a way to load and unload? do you have a customs broker for clearance into the USA? thanks Paul (2/7/2009)
Response:
Paul, Baler is at an equipment dealer and I can arrange for loading. What have you for a trailer?? a tractor can easily back it up on ramps if you are so equipped. The pick-up is at Hartney, Manitoba not Hartley; and is on rte.21 sw of Brandon, and 35miles from the boarder. As yet I have no customs broker, but I've considered having the seller deliver it across the boarder to some other dealer for domestic transport to here. The dimensions will be smaller than I posted. What might you suggest??? Jeff Meehl (2/7/2009)
Response:
Hello Jeff, I have a 48ft flatbed trailer but no ramps. If you can get the shipper to have it delivered to a dealer in North Dakota, it would be easier and maybe cheaper to get someone to haul it for you. As alot of companies do not haul cross border. If you decide to have shipped directly from Canada, a customs broker would be the easiest and the customs fees, taxes, etc would be due at a later date. This could save you a few $$ for now then pay them later. Thanks Paul (2/8/2009)
Response:
It's now 4months later and I can get the baler delivered by the seller to Bottineau, ND and is willing to coordinate meeting with you so he can back it onto your trailer. I can also take delivery from you in Rosedale, IN just north of Terre Haute, or in Middletown, CT. Comments, please. (6/2/2009)
Response:
Hello, yes it has been awhile hasn't it, but that is ok. I DO NOT have any ramps for my trailer at this point so ramps would be required for loading. I will have to get back to you on if/when I could do and then bid. Thanks Paul (6/8/2009)
Question:
Shipper's dimension and weight specs are not consistent with the manufacturer's specs as [email address removed] (6/5/2009)
Response:
If you have access to the manufacturer's specs I would trust them as accurate. I would also entertain a delivery to Rosedale, IN to friends farm where I can then collect it later in June and drag it home to CT. If interested, please quote it both ways. Thanks, Jeff (6/6/2009)
Question:
Are you still looking to get this baler hauled? Thanks. (6/5/2009)
Response:
Yes, I still want the baler shipped. In fact if you can only get it to Rosedale, Indiana to my friend's farm, I can drag it back to CT when I go out later this month. Give me a price to each destination, please. Jeff (6/6/2009)
Response:
Ok, Thanks, I'll work up a bid to both and place later on this afternoon. Thanks again, Lance. (6/6/2009)
Question:
I can pickup/deliver your baler for 1500.00.Please let me know.Thank you,Tim (6/12/2009)
Question:
What would you want to spend to get this to Rosedale? (6/18/2009)
Response:
$450. (6/18/2009)
Response:
Would the weekend of July 18th be too far out for delivery to CT? (6/18/2009)
Response:
Too late; however what would be the price for that late a delivery? (6/18/2009)
