Question: HI, WE LIVE IN KALISPELL MT AND WE ARE PICKING UP A BOAT IN SEATTLE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK TUES OR WED, WE COULD PUT THIS IN THE BACK OF THE TRUCK AND BRING IT BACK FOR YOU. IF WE JUST BRING IT TO KALISPELL WE COULD DO IT FOR $495 IF WE NEED TO BRING IT UP TO EUREKA WE WOULD NEED TO CHARGE $575. WITH GAS GOING UP ITS HARD TO DO IT FOR ANY LESS. Response: Hi Thanks for responding to my shipment, the long block core is pretty small, not that heavy, one man could load and unload it. My best offer so far has been 218 my next best 224. So as you are picking up a boat anyway surely this little job would be beer and chips on top of an already paid for job, 100 to Eureka would be more like it. I dont get how you arrive at your prices. I am currently having a 1000cc motorcycle shipped from the east coast for 700!.... (6/12/2009)
Response: WE CHARGE APRROX 80 TO 85 CENTS A MILE WHICH IS BELOW THE STANDARD AT THE CURRENT TIME. WITH GAS AND DISEL GOING UP EVERYDAY IT IS DRIVING THE PRICES UP. WHEN WE HAUL USING THE TRAILER AND CAN BUT MORE ITEMS IN THEN THE PRICE COMES DOWN BUT I CAN ONLY PUT ONE ITEM INT HE BACK OF THE TRUCK ONT EH WAY HOME SO IT IS BASED ON MILEAGE.
