Questions for this shipment: 

Question: will the shipment fit on a 48' drop deck? and if so how soon could it be ready, at drop off point do we need to supply a way to unload... i have trucks in that area all the time i know i can do it cheaper than that (10/18/2005)
Response: the Ely, NV load will load at our plant and we have fork lift no help req'd. We will even help you tarp the load. I will get the info at Unload point. So far it looks like customer will unload by hand figure absolute worst case 2hrs for them to unload should take an hour. (10/18/2005)

Response: The customer will unload it for sure. We will fork lift it on at our plant in corona. The 2 hr max to unload is accurate checked on it also. Question: whats the weight, will material fit into a 12x8 enclosed trailer, if not material can be covered with tarps on an 18x7 open trailer. (10/22/2005)
Response: the 7x18 trailer could possibly work. The load packaging would have to be modified to hand load a majority of it instead of pallets. Hauling price would determine wether fabrication plant in Corona would be willing to go the extra trouble of packaging the load that way. Let me know how much to haul it on the 7x18. (10/22/2005)

Question: Is there any particular reason the load must be tarped ? I have quite a lot of vinyl fencing it is very durable. They did not tarp mine when shipped. Just curious . Thanks Ron (10/22/2005)

Response: Cliff, The trailer dimensions look like they'll work. They need it delivered on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The load will be ready on 10/28/05 and anytime from that day on would be fine. We have a forklift at the fabrication plant to load you. The customer will take a maximum of 2 hrs to unload you. Let me know so I can call the plant and let them know it is a go. (10/26/2005)

Response: Cliff, your trailer width we can manage if you can haul it for 800.00 I can get them to re-bundle the load to fit your trailer. The customer can only be available to take delivery on a FRI, SAT or SUN and I can have it re-bundled by 10/28 or 10/29. If this works please submit your bid and well get this confirmed. I can call the plant first thing in the morning and request a re-bundle. (10/26/2005)
Question: Does this load need a full 96 inches to lay on the bed of trailer ? The only trailer I have avaiable at this time is 83 inches. I live about 3 hrs. from Corona. New 25' x 102" being built now. Ron (10/26/2005)
Response: If the load can be hauled for 800.00 we can re-bundle the load to fit 7ft wide x 16 long. It needs to be delivered on a FRI, SAT, or SUN and if it needs to be re-bundled please put a bid in so I can get this confirmed and call the plant to request a re-bundle. Thank you, Jill (10/26/2005)
Question: I just tried to call my employee to make sure of the width of the trailer but no answer. I am sure the trailer is only 83" between fenders. One inch short of 7'. I will call him real early tomorrow morning. Look for my post early. I have numerous ratchet straps but my only concern is when they are tightened down will that damage the fencing ? Ron (10/26/2005)
Response: I am positive we can re-bundle to make it fit the width. We use rachet straps on the big rig that brings the loads to us from florida. We use 1x3 boards to protect the Vinyl and it is wrapped in plastic as well. Should be just fine. Will need insurance on the load. Response: The value is $5000.oo PLEASE post your bid I have to leave to go open the our other office within the next 10 mins and won't be able to access email till tonite which could pose a problem trying to get this load rebundled for your trailer by FRI or SAT for you. Response: Please clarify this 30" high bed? The load will be 8ft height min. How long is your trailer? I can run a material check to make sure we don't have a problem. Would your driver have any room in his cab for [4] 12"x12" boxes that would help a bunch with tryin to rearrange the bundles the plant just called. (10/27/2005)
Question: Trailer floor is 30 inches from ground. If load is 8ft that is 126"= 10 & 1/2 ft load heigth. A few inches higher ok. We will need some long straps but thats ok. Boxes will be no problem . Trailer is 24ft long. But remember it is only 83' where load will lay . (10/27/2005)
Response: I just called the plant they are waiting for me to call them back regarding wether to put in request to rebundle. The load can be made to fit your trailer width, height, and length. Response: If I can get this wrapped up in the next 10 to 15 mins and get the request put in to the plant today possible have load ready for your trailer in the late afternoon on FRI 10/28.
