Question: Hi Molly I recently transported an upright bass from CA to NY. I had to carefully wrap and box the item. In this case I would do the same for both pieces. Your max price is low relative to the materials and care needed to ship this cross country. I can pick this up on my way to Los Angeles on Nov. 14-15th and deliver on Nov. 20-22. My bid is below. Response: Hi. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. The bass, amp and stand (small folding stand) are in Las Vegas the flight case is in PA with us. I have read your feedback and would really like to make this work. Normally we would send the bass case to the seller by bus and they send it back to us. Round trip by Greyhound is very reasonable and we have done it many times. The wrench this time is the amp and stand, it complicates the shipping process. If you can get your price down a bit I’ll book it for the convenience factor of the seller and us. Please check out our website so you can see what we are all about. I enjoyed your write up on Uship. Response: Hi Wendy I just saw your question. I lowered my bid which still includes packing. In the event that I get another drop off in your area which at the moment seems unlikely then I can lower my bid to $400. My route for my return trip is taking me to Rochester, NY and other locations which are north.
