Questions for this shipment:

Question: How much of a 24ft truck will you need? besides being 24ft long it is 7 1/2 ft wide and the same as tall. (12/18/2007)
Response: I also see that you will relocate pets as well. I have a red Dobermann with an awesome temperment. He is a real good boy but will be a bit nervous more than anything so he may need some comforting. I would say i would need no more than 6 feet and that could be more than enough if we pack it right. (12/18/2007)
Response: I am in Vancouver BC using Stapples power and Internet (wonderful customer service!!) to get dome documents required for customs. I wil be in WA tonite and will read you questins ect. Yes I take pets specially dogs. (12/19/2007)
Response: LOL!...Thanks for the response Jackie! I was getting worried we werent gonna hear from ya let alone anyone cuz noone has even responded to me :-( But that's ok. ;-) Ill be checking back here quite often as to hope to catch up with ya here. Thanks a million and looking forward to communicating with you later. Be safe on your endeavors back home to WA. (12/19/2007)
Response: I was in Canada until 1.30 a.m. doing customs paperwork for the load going to Richmond, CA. Customs either Canadians or US is getting more complicated and time consuming. I could do your move now if I get other things going towards the East Coast. I would have to charge you $2000 for the trip unless I could fill the truck just to cover the fuel and truck cost. Yes I can take your doverman. I am familiar with shy dogs and they all get a little nervous away from their owners at first. You do not have to worry about that, soon they feel loved and jsut make the best of it then when they get reunited is all worth it. Please tell me ASAP if you will accept a bid and if you could be ready the day after Chritsmas. I have to make adecision which way to go since my trip to TExas-Calgary has been posponed to April. (12/20/2007)
Response: I can understand 2k for the total trip. But honestly I know I wont be able to cover that cost. I 'm not sure what you had in mind as far as a bid either. Also the time frame really isnt a problem but im due to leave California on January 4th, which leaves me 9 days with nothing LOL. So if you needed till then we can do that as well. The latest date can be January 3rd because as stated Im leaving on the 4th of January 6:45 am flight. As far as you getting the stuff and my dog, there im very flexible, so if it takes you longer to get there so what, as long as they get there. I was hoping around the 30th or 31st of December because that would leave me with less waiting time with nothing as well as less waiting time when i arrive in Blasdell, NY. But i am flexible on dates. If they have to be picked up the day before i leave (Jan 3rd) thats fine. Let me know! (12/21/2007)
Response: I am renting a truck but even if it was my truck the cost will be similar because I would have truck payments, full insurance and maintenance. The amount of things yuo have will take 1/3 of a 24ft truck and the distance is large. I will have to charge you $2800 if you were alone, and $2000 if I could fill the truck. You shuold check with moving companies to confirm that my bid is very low. I really can't help you. You could pay thru Pay Pal ans use a credit card, there is a 2.9 % charge but it is worth it. To me you pay in thirds, 1/3 to hold place, 1/3 loading, rest on delivery. Your dog goes free as part of your move. (12/21/2007)
Response: Moving company will charge me about the same as what you've quoted me (2k) which will include my dog, with a pet courier, who will take him there seperately from my stuff. I was hoping maybe we could have set somehting up for a later date that way you can fill your truck and and the cost would be minimal than that of the 2k for me. As stated, if you wanted to set something up to give you more time to setup for a later date to fill your truck or have a plan with moves around that date maybe it would cost me less? I dont know. And if im reading correctly, whether you fill the truck or not your price is gonna be 2k? (12/21/2007)
Response: You should take their bid. I don't know how they can do it for this price unless they have the trip filled in one of those 53ft containers and you are just a filler. If I take only your stuff now, it would be $2800, if I had other loads it will be $2000. The problem is that I cann't just wait. This business is fluid, I may have a job that sends me to Florida full tomorrow. That is why I can't make a bid for $2000 when it barely covers my cost but I am not earning the whole week it takes to drive there, and I would be resting or working on my home. (12/21/2007)
Response: The cheapest bid i got from a moving company was for a 2k LB minimum price of $1100 and my dog would be transported by a pet courier for $900. 2 seperate bids from 2 seperate companies. There is no need for you to wait anymore as i can not afford 2k dollars. I do understand you have to make a decision as to where you're going next, therefore i will wait and see if i can find a better offer. I am currently looking into a local mover that is nationwide and see what they wll offer since they have a pricing for 1k lb minimum. you may stay home and rest or work on your home. Thank you. (12/21/2007)
Question: I can pick your shipment up today(12-21) in the early afternoon and deliver in NY between 1-9 and 1-15 for $1750.00. Let me know and I will bid. (12/21/2007)
Response: Today is not enough time for me. I still have other things to pack and get ready. Ideally, im looking for someone around the 30th-31st of December. $1750 is better but I think I can still get better. Does your price include getting my dog there as well? (12/21/2007)
Question: Have a truck headed towards Ny,Ny can have your dog and your items loaded/unloaded for $1450 depending on the dimensions of the screens from the t.v.'s and computers your things will be shipped with another customers. (12/21/2007)
Response: That pricing is alot better. The one TV is a small tv and the screen on it is 16" wide. The larger TV's screen is 22" wide. Also, the amount of boxes will be about 10-15 cuz i have most of my things all packed up. If you can give me an exact estimate I would definately consider this. My next question is when will you pick up and deliver? (12/21/2007)
Response: are the t.v.'s tube or flat panel like the onesthat can hang on the wall or are they regular t.v.'s pick up will be truck leaves Christmas Eve delivery is 27TH (12/21/2007)
Response: The TV's are tube TV's. Let me make sure i have this right. Pickup will be Dec 24th and delivery will be Dec 27th? If pickup is the 24th, thats not good because I wont be home on that day and out of town with family for Christmas. Is there any way we could try this for a later date maybe after Christmas some time? BTW the boxes dimensions are 30" Long, 13" Wide, and 14" tall. (12/21/2007)
Response: How about pick up the 26th delivery 29th let me know if this works. (12/21/2007)
Response: If you're gonna deliver that fast it would be best to do this on Jan 2nd. The reason being that my girlfriend has never beeen around my dog and she is waiting for me in NY and my flight leaves early in the morning on January 4th. I would rather be there when the dog gets there. Another concern I have is I need to be sure that my dog will be well cared for. To do this in 3-4 days is a fast trip with not many stops. Can this be done on that date? (12/21/2007)
Response: I stop at every other rest stop for 15 minutes plenty of time for your dog to run use the restroom, as well as I and a major question what kind of dog is it, is he house broken and how old. (12/22/2007)
Response: My dog is a Red Dobermann. His behavior is amazing. He is bigger than most dobes as in tall. He will be nervous so he will need a lil attention from time to time. He is house broken and IS an indoor dog so he is well mannered. He is not aggressive whatsoever, if anything he will lick you to death lol. He is a very good boy and goes by the name Roman ;-) (12/22/2007)
Response: Sorry had to make me something to eat, Well Roman sounds like a real mans best friend he is fine by me I will go ahead and submit my bid and good luck in your move-FMMovers (12/22/2007)
Question: Sorry to rush you but would it be possible to accept the bid so that we may better discuss your shipping and reserve your spot-FMMovers (12/22/2007)
Question: Are you still wanting this shipped have another truck leaving day after Christmas. (12/23/2007)
Response: Yes I do but the 26th is too early (12/23/2007)
Response: Well trucks leave every Wednesday and Saturday but sometimes the are empty and sometimes they are full like I stated earlier i'm not wanting to rush you but if you want us to ship your items a bid has been entered Hope to work with you soon-FMMovers (12/23/2007)
Response: I am interested in your price of a bid. I have requested a rebid through here. (12/27/2007)
Response: I went and re-bidded so let me knowif you are interested-FMMovers (12/28/2007)
Response: One last question. About my dog, how will he be transported and how well taken care of will he be? (12/28/2007)
Response: He will be transported in the cab right next to me I'm a solo driver he will get a restroom break every other rest stop about 80-120 miles he will have a container of water available at all times on the floor board of the truck. He will be well taken care of. (12/28/2007)
Question: i can do it for 1750 (12/23/2007)
Response: When will you be able to pickup? (12/29/2007)
Response: unless you know someone who can help me drive..i couldnt do it now cause of another job i need to be back in time for (12/29/2007)
Response: Drats! I would have to have my dog and belongings picked up by Jan 3rd if that helps any. My flight is leaving on Jan 4th :( (12/29/2007)
Response: i heading out tomorrow night to the east coast (12/29/2007)
Response: do you have a full load already? (12/29/2007)
Response: no i dont..i could pick up your things afterwards but i need to be back to california on the 6th and the only way that can happen is if i had someone to help me drive (12/29/2007)
Response: What date excatly do you think you will be back by after this move to the east coast? If I have to wait till you get back, I may be able to relocate my belongings to another location along with my dog till then. Unfortunately, I dont know anyone who would help you drive. (12/29/2007)
Response: to be honest i dont know when..i know i will be back no later than the 2nd week of february..i live in california (12/29/2007)
