Residence-to-residence move. First floor at both locations, with a few steps outside the front doors. The label on the piano is "Whitney (Chicago)". It is from the 1940s or 1950s, itself not valuable but a family heirloom.

Response: The residence from which the piano is being moved will probably be a challenge for your rig. It is a dirt road, one sharp turn, and not possible to back a truck up towards the door on level ground. Question: Hello! Could you please tell me if there are any steps/stairs/elevators at either location? We appreciate the opportunity to bid on your shipment. You will find that we are not, generally, the lowest bid and this is for a few reasons. We are a professional, piano-only mover, utilizing climate-controlled trailers to move your piano safely. Our crews only move pianos, therefore they have the necessary experience and know how to treat your piano as the delicate instrument that it is. I look forward to bidding on your piano move! Response: Yes, there are steps leading to the door at both the origin and destination. At the origin there is a patio with a few steps; and at the destination there is a front porch, again with a few steps (4-5 steps). Other than that, no stairs or elevators; first floor at both locations. (4/23/2009)
