Questions for this shipment:

Question: I will be taking an R22 from Oregon to Madison, WI. When are looking at having this hauled. Thanks, John Plato Mountain Man Helicopter Hauling (11/29/2007)
Response: Hi John, Thanks for the contact, The unit could be hauled at your convienience...However, I have not yet made the purchase of the aircraft (Part of such desision is based upon the ease of getting this thing picked up and moved here to Wisconsin) You are the first contact that has been made me regarding git-r-done.... I am also looking at another unit to my south in Indiana....will know more of that come Friday. By this weekend I will most likely have made such desision...and such will be made in part based upon what it would cost to move the Iowa unit?... Brian in Racine (11/29/2007)
Response: Brian, combining your Ultra Light with this R22 going to Madison WI will be your best price in getting it over there. I also carry Full coverage insurance on aircrafts at no additional charge to you. Also, what model is this? I'll need the dimensions. Thanks again. -John (11/29/2007)
Response: John, It is a "Minimax" the lowwing far 103 legal type. The engine (a single cylinder rotax 277) is not mounted on it. (But comes along) The wings of course remove and these are dimensions of a assemebelled aircraft with engine and spinner mounted....Lenght 15.5 Wingspan 25 hieght varies usually about 4. However wings removed measure 11.5 feet per section (I do not know the cord yet) nor the width of the horizontal stab, the fuselage section widest were pilot sits...call 2 feet. Because it is a 103 her max weight is not to exceed 254 when assembelled...this shoud weigh less. My guess is that if you are moveing a Robinson on a typical flatbed semi? you should have plenty of room. Send me your direct email assuming it is not listed in this site, so I can contact you this weekend should I go with this Iowa unit. As I said the desion is still open as I have to hear back from another MiniMax seller tomorrow (Friday) regarding his sale to my south. You have the move if I buy it, Thanks (11/29/2007)
Response: Brian, I use a 40 ft flatbed. Should be plenty of room. Please, Google us...Mountain Man Helicopter... check out our site, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the first page. Feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks, John Mountain Man Helicopter Hauling (11/29/2007)
Question: Just checking back in with you to see how the sale went and if you will need these items shipped. thanks. -John (11/30/2007)
Response: Hi John, Thanks for the follow-up I just closed a deal. However the deal I just closed is for another aircraft...a Hy-Max (the full cabin high wing model) from a dealer in Iowa. (More money but twice the aircraft) He is going to store it for me through the winter for $25 a month. I will take the delivery of when weather permits me to go out to his airfield and get my tale dragger endorsement from the comfort of my RV... This was the better aircraft choice in fact this particular plane was the kit built Lindy winner at Oshkosh in 2005. Regarding you and your Mountainman helo services...you are bookmarked and will be remembered. Your service attitude, web site etc all speak volumes...I will do what I can to recommend you to others on the yahoo aviation forums of which I participate quite a bit. If it turns out I am uncomfortable in flying it back here (she is currently airworthy and 250 miles to my west) I will give you a buzz. Respectfully wishing you, yours "Blue skies" Brian (11/30/2007)
