Question: Hello shipper, if this is the one in Hesperia, I know the area well. Saw the ad, was going to purchase it myself.. Looks like you beat me to it... Response: I have a Tri-Ex. Small in comparison, but one of the triangular crank up towers. I have another one coming, and hope to pick up 2 more. I have 11 acres at 6K feet, and want to try a rhombic going east :) Currently, only using a vertical at about 45 feet, but it works well with the amplifier. Local comms are a breeze, and I can't wait until the sunspot cycle picks up! To answer your question about load / unload... 3 guys can probably do it. My trailer is 49 feet overall, 40 foot of deckspace. A flatbed. I can help load and unload, but there would have to be enough guys. Response: I realize that your bid has expired but I would like to accept it if you will still honor it. I have several bids in this price range but it sounds like you have the best knowledge of the item and experience with moving towers.
The seller has an engine hoist that can be used to load it on the trailer. I will get at least one other person to help with the unloading and I have a couple dollies that can be used for moving it after we get it off the trailer.
Also, I have a 35' tower that has been replaced. Would you be interested in it? (12/27/2007)
Response: If I was still in the LA area, I would. Unfortunately, I'm home now (Tehachapi) and expecting snow tonight, so not sure if I will be able to get off the mtn (I live at 6K feet). Too bad, really. I'd of liked to look at the tower you are replacing this one with, too. Might have matched up nicely with my tri-ex I have...
