Additional Information: Urgently need an Electric Golf Cart in the St. Louis, MO area picked up and delivered to the Phoenix, AZ area as quickly as possible.

Golf cart is about 5'5" tall, 9'4"long and 4' wide. Not sure of the weight - could be about 600 pounds. Driver will need a ramp or something in order to have the cart driven into the carrier - this is important. Wheel base on cart is not wide enough to go on car carrier.

Prefer someone already in the St. Louis area to save on costs. : )

Will give complete addresses once bid is confirmed.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Can the top or "canopy" be temporarily removed for transit, to shorten the overall height?? Let me know as I can do this reasonably... I am headed that way anyway... Thanks! (8/18/2005)
Question: Hi: are you still needing your cart shipped? Thanks! (8/18/2005)
Response: Homar, I had someone lined up - and it ended up falling through. Are you still interested? It can also be delivered to Whiteface TX and picked up from there if that is easier. THANKS (8/18/2005)
Question: we will be leaving for this location early next week can this golf cart fit in back of pickup if it can we can do it for 550 (8/19/2005)
Question: we also have a tow dolly if that would work on a golf cart, but need to know asap (8/19/2005)
Question: Still interested in moving that golf cart? We are very close to P/U area, and are heading out in a few hours to AZ area. Can the top be temporarily removed for trans.? If so, I can move it for $300. (8/29/2005)
Response: Well... I thought I had another shipper - but they jacked the price up on me at the last minute ... am waiting to see if they will go back down to original bid - You have probably already left by now???? Yes - the top can be removed. : ) Judy (8/29/2005)
Question: Are you still looking for transportation? (9/10/2005)
Response: Yes yes! : ) I tried to contact you but you had already left the area. Can you give me a quote? Also - I need to make sure you have a way of getting the cart into the truck - like a ramp for it to be driven up on. (9/10/2005)
Question: HELLO !!!! Yes we're back !!!! In the past we have found the best way to load golf carts into our van is with 2x12 or 2x10 wooden boards, believe it or not!! If you have access to this type of lumber, then we would be delighted to transport your cart to Arizona. Let us know and we will place a formal bid. Thanks. Bob and Lori (9/10/2005)
Response: I just called the seller - he said the boards would not be a problem and he also has a metal ramp that MIGHT work - your prior bid was $300 - would be willing to pay a little extra if it could get picked up today. : ) Judy (9/10/2005)
Question: Not as yet, but we would not be opposed to acquiring the boards prior to our arrival at pick up. We can always use them for other shippers as well! Not wishing to outbid myself, (!) what is your budget like? We usually get $1.30 per mile. Let me know if this works. Payment is due at time of pick up, or half at pick up, and balance due and payable at time of delivery. Bob and Lori (9/10/2005)
Response: Bob and Lori, Looks like the buyer did a listing on Friday for this same cart - because my listing had expired and I did not renew it until today. Nothing like people doing "double work" LOL Anyway - she has a bid for $600 - so that is the highest bid now instead of the $550 I mentioned in a previous email. This person has a trailer - which will not be allowed in the residential area - so am checking to make sure they can load it with their own ramp. Please feel free to go ahead and place a bid here - or on the other listing that Lisa did if you are interested. SORRY for the confusion! Judy (9/10/2005)
Question: Ahh... thank you for the explanation!! I can move the cart for $600 but cannot go until Monday. If this works, I will place the bid. (9/10/2005)
Response: Sorry for the circumstances in which I had to GIVE the explanation! LOL I THINK Monday will be fine - if not - then Tuesday for sure if that will work for you. The seller works - but if we have a firm time that you would be there - one of them will make sure to be at the house for pickup. Once the bid is accepted, you can work directly with the seller for pickup and then cc me so I know what is going on. : ) Using your truck/van would work best because a semi or trailer would have to be parked outside of the residential area - whereas you could drive directly there to pick up if you have a van or a pickup truck - and they could use their lumber or ramp to help load. Otherwise a semi or trailer would definately have to supply their own ramp because the seller could not take the ramp /lumber that far to load it. Does that make sense? : ) Buyer agreed to pay 1/2 with credit card once bid is accepted and then the balance when delivered. THANKS! Judy (9/10/2005)
Question: Hi Judy! LOL I think it makes sense!! Sounds like the person(s) at the shipping point has lumber and/or a ramp to assist in loading. The Arizona receiver does too...? As long as the canopy of "top" of the cart is removed prior to our arrival, then all should work well. Additionally, we are not set up to accept credit cards. Can buyer take the card to an ATM or bank, and withdraw the funds for availability upon arrival? If all is agreeable, then I will place the formal bid. Look forward to hearing back from you within the hour!!!! Bob and Lori (9/10/2005)
Response: Bob and Lori, CRUD!!! I didn't even THINK about the UNLOADING of it and the ramp needed! Glad YOU are on the ball! giggle I just called the buyer and she said she will make sure she has the lumber there to get it off the truck if she has to. If you could give me "firm" specs on what she needs like 2ft wide by 10 ft long... how thick?? (I know that is probably a stupid question! LOL) Yes... seller has a ramp and lumber - whichever works best as long as you can get directly into the neighborhood. Buyer also agreed to pay cash upon delivery - will just get the $$ off the credit card and have it ready when you get there. Within the hour??? What do you think I sit here all day at my computer? giggle Well... you are RIGHT! hehehehheh Thanks SO MUCH for your help! Judy (9/10/2005)
Question: LOL Hi Judy ! 50% cash on pick up, and 50% upon delivery, correct? Will the top be removed prior to our arrival? At delivery, lumber needed will be two 2" by 10", 8 or 10 feet in length. (9/10/2005)
Response: Since you don't accept credit cards we will have to do as you said earlier 100% cash upon delivery. I just called the seller - they will have the top off. Monday is great for them. I will let buyer know the dimensions of the lumber and she will have it ready to go. I am going to communicate directly with you from here out with the rest of the info - I have your email and phone because your bid has been accepted. Please be on the lookout for an additional email from me with same subject line but direct from my email account. Judy (9/10/2005)
