Response: These trailers are new with new tires and axles and lights. I do know that fact does not guarantee a totally problem free trip. Sounds like you have all bases covered. My problem is that the customer sets the price he will pay, not me. Thanks for the offer but I can't accept.6/13/2012

Is there a way to set my 20 foot flatbed car hauler on these so I can use it to make a backhaul on my way home. Otherwise its not financially viable as it will cost me the amount I make on this just for fuel to come from St Louis and back. Not sure what gas prices are like for the customer in Texas but if he can get me a backhaul and allow me to stack my 1500 pound trailer on his for the ride then I'm game, otherwise it'd be a no go, and I will be looking for the backhaul myself to so if I find one I will book it. But like others here have said the insurance and cargo coverage alone are around 10k a year to be a legal hauler, and the fuel honestly will be about 400 each way easy. That being said doing this alone would net me a 53 dollar profit, providing I have no mechanical issues which cost us as well. Thanks for any info or consideration.
