Questions for this shipment:

Question: what is the width of each trailer? (7/18/2007)
Response: The width of the trailer is 9 ft 6 in. The length of the trailler is 22 ft. the height is 8 ft. (7/19/2007)
Question: I have a truck that could be there between Friday and Monday. Are these boats ready to go? (7/19/2007)
Response: The boats are ready to be loaded. I don't think there is anyone to load and there may not be access during the weekend. (7/19/2007)
Response: Do you mean no one to load on the weekend or no one to load at all? (7/19/2007)
Response: It's a coast guard base. The maintenance guys would not be there during the weekend. They told me that they have a forklift to load. They would be there during the week. There is no assistance to unload at the EPA lab in Gulf Breeze. We are a government contractor, a PO would be issued and payment would be net 30 days by company check. (7/19/2007)
Response: Then how are we getting the boats off with no assistance on the other end? (7/19/2007)
Response: I just checked and they could have some people help push them off (weekday). No forklift. (7/19/2007)
Response: That sounds fine. However, I spoke with transport on the 30day thing and we are a COD company. He said he would move both of them for $1600.00 with deposit and full payment at the end of the run. Thanks for you time (7/19/2007)
Question: We could ship both the boats/trailers on our trailer. They would be winched on and off. Does your company pay within 30 days of time bill is submitted? We are a contractor as well as a transport company and I know how it is when it comes to payment on the construction side (60-90 days at best). Just want to make sure. (7/19/2007)
Response: Payment is made within 30 days of receipt of invoice. 30 days would be the max depending when in the billing cycle the invoice was received. (7/19/2007)
Question: what is wrong with trailer that they cant be towed (7/20/2007)
Response: The trailers have been sitting for years. We do not know whether the tires are dry rotted, whether the bearings are ready to go or the condition of the springs. We do not want to end up paying for a trailer breakdown. The boats are going on a ship so we don't want to put any money into the trailers. (7/20/2007)
Response: if we could tow them to you we could do it for 600 plus uship each (7/20/2007)
Response: See above (7/20/2007)
Response: above what? (7/20/2007)
Response: The answer above in the listing. We don't want to tow the trailers because we don't know what shape they are in. (7/20/2007)
Question: Are the trailers road worthy? Do the bearings need to be repacked? Will there be any additional wieght outside of normal marine gear? Are there any spare tires for the trailers? Thank-You jimmy (7/21/2007)
Response: We do not have information on the shape of the trailers. We do not want them towed, spare tires are not necessary, We want them to be loaded on a hauler. (7/23/2007)
Response: Okay Bud, Thank-You for your reply, good luck to ya' jimmy (7/23/2007)
Question: Do you even want the trailers hauled at all then? I could put both boats and trailers on my flatbed BUT if all you want is the boats hauled, why bother with the trailers at all? (7/22/2007)
Response: They need to have the boats on trailers so they can move them around the lot. The boats will eventually end up on a ship. In the meantime they will be stored on the trailers. We do not want to deal with the hassle of towing the trailers and the prbability of a breakdown. We want the boats loaded on a hauler, WE DO NOT WANT THEM TOWED. For payment a Purchase Order will be issued, Payment terms are net 30 days. USHIP fee will be paid by credit card. (7/23/2007)
Response: Makes sense. Thanks (7/23/2007)
Response: Is the Purchase Order, payment net 30 days acceptable. If it is, I'll start on Purchase order approval. (7/23/2007)
Response: Yes, that will be fine. (7/23/2007)
