Response: It probably can be picked up pretty soon, within 10 days, but my problem is not pick up but delivery! As I'm coming down from BC, I can only pick up in Spokane on certain dates - March 29 or April 12. If the shipper can bring it 140 more miles west, to Omak, I can be more flexible as it's only a 2 hour drive to Omak vs a 5 hour drive to Spokane. I don't mind either crossing, although I usually prefer Omak, through the Osoyoos crossing, as it's 2 hours directly south for me, and a nice drive. Question: Thanks for the bid request, my bid would be all inclusive, full coverage insurance included for $2675.00, that is $1.50 a mile, which is where ANY legal transporter should be these days with the high fuel prices, "IF", they want to stay in business. Too many on this site offering cutthroat prices, and dropping like flies out of business and filing for bankruptcy because of it. I am only doing MINIMAL business on this site because of all the cutthroats on it. I am doing a TON of business on many other sites, and with repeat customers though. Your choice, let me know. Response: Thanks for getting back to me. I appreciate what you're saying - $1.50 isn't unreasonable by any stretch, and often the lower the bid, the less qualified or reliable the shipper might be. Not always, but often... In this case,I'm going with a guy who has great feedback and seems to have all the legal/insurance angles covered well. Good luck - sounds like you're not doing too badly!
