Response: No, but if you are already paying for insurance, you may as well go and get legal. It doesn't cost much more. $300 to get your mc #.. you must have commercial insurance, liability and cargo too, if you don't already. (4/11/2007)

Question: I'm in process of filling out forms i can get a dot num quickly but it takes up to 5 weeks to get MC num If I can run under your number, ie work for you, let me know and I'll make all 5 trips if you need, thanks anyway, david5 (4/11/2007)
Response: In order to run under my #'s you have to be under my insurance. I've never known it to take 5 weeks to get a MC #. Are you sure? Did you call the DOT directly, ususally if you already have the appropriate insurance in place then it shouldn't take that long? (4/11/2007)
Question: Thats what the web site said I spoke to then on the phone but they just refered me to the web site to fill out forms. , could you put me on your ins tempary? I have a perfect driving record over 25 years no tickets or accedents drivin everything from vans to buses to tractor,trailors have classA CDL TPX endors. just a thought thanks david5 (4/11/2007)
Response: it's not that simple.. when I add a truck, i have to pay the same amount of insurance that I pay for all trucks and a down payment of 20% which is almost $2,000. At this time, we are not leasing on to our insurance. It's easier just to get your own.. especially since it's so expensive. It probably has something to do with the state we are in. NC is horrible place for insurance. (4/11/2007)

Response: These units are 27' long, approx 6000lbs, regular bumper pull standard fema travel trailers. Looking for someone with MC authority and appropriate insurance to pull. Ready to go anytime, pickup monday - Friday at Fema yard in Brooklyn, MS. (4/12/2007)
