Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Shipper, Your max price is to low. You're looking at 700-750 for this. Jay (3/25/2009)
Response:
The price is correct considering ALL variables. If the camper is not moved by Easter, the seller will tow it to Missouri. Other members of the seller's family live in South Dakota and the camper may be towed there (No firm commitment yet). South Dakota desination is only four hours rom here. The bid price is NOT set for commercial contractor nor is it for independants, it is for someone traveling this direction wanting to defray costs. We may eventally have to go higher and pay a commercial mover if all of our "Of Mice and Men" plans fall through but not this early in the game. (3/26/2009)
Response:
Thanks for the response and good luck with this. Jay (3/26/2009)
Question:
is this trailer road ready, good tires, & spare, wheel bearings greased, lights work, up to date tags, brakes? (3/26/2009)
Response:
According to the sellers, which I DO trust, the wheel bearings wererepacked at the begining of each year. The tires as wellas the spare are reported to be in good condition and the lights work. As far as we know, the camper is completely "road ready" and would have no problems making it to North Dakota. If it is not picked up by Easter, the camper will move from Texas to Missouri as the seller will visit their family and take tow the camper there. We will then re-list on uship. (3/26/2009)
Question:
Ha thanks for the honesty, and i can appreciate that! I am ex military myself! I will give the bid but let me try to work a day on getting something to go with me and something to come back with! R the tires and everything ready to go on trl? (3/30/2009)
Question:
hi I could get it to neb for 300.00 cash thanks (3/31/2009)
Response:
We have an offer to get it from where it is at, all the way to Fargo for $400. The offer is not firm and we have not accepted but expect that to change within a day or two. Bluntly - We hope the other offer pans out. It would work for us and seemingly help out the mover just as much. However, if the other offer doesn't come through, maybe we can work something out with you? Do you have a timeline? Where in Nebraska? How would you get it there i.e. tow or haul? Very best regards..... (3/31/2009)
Response:
better jump on the 400.00 I am trying to put food on my familys table not be out running around for fuel money! Thanks (3/31/2009)
Question:
once we get this deal done u need to stay in touch as well with u on how the weather is their it says on the news yall r worried about flooding! Thanks ryan (3/31/2009)
Response:
The Red River flows from south to north. For the past week, the river has been rising from the thawing run off down south. Saturday, the river rose to the highest level in recorded history. Over the past several days, the water level has begun to drop. However, we got 5 inches of snow today and expect more tommorrow. It IS a very dangerous situation. Thus far, our home has remained dry. If we make a deal with you, we will ensure you get paid the full amount agreed upon and will ensure sure you are not put in harms way. If necessary, we will drive south and meet you in a safe location and bring the camper in ourselves. Even if we have to drive south and bring it in ourselves, you will still receive the full amount of our agreed price. We treat people right. (3/31/2009)
Question:
ok, i just switched the balls out and i will be ready to go tomorrow! Anything else i need to do, before we make this deal. Uship is going to take off what they get and i get the remaining so u won't owe me the 400!Thanks ryan (3/31/2009)
