Response: Can you do it sooner? I had someone who wanted to do it a little later and turns out they couldn't do it has taken me over a couple months to move. What would you charge if I wait until May and what is the guarantee that you would actually move it in the time you identify? (4/17/2008)
Response: I have to travel to Md. from NC on May 9 or 10 and will have myself and my truck. I might have a helper, not sure. If the measurements you have given are accurate it would ride in the back of my 14 foot box truck. I should know about the exact time and date in the next few days. As far as reliability all I have in my Uship feedback which you can see. Not sure my bid but lower than what you have now. Hopefully my truck could be backed up right to the tub making loading and unloading easy with the right number of people. It might take more than 4 persons, not sure. (4/17/2008)
Question: This item may take 5-6 men to pickup and load and unload. Very few providers can provide that kind of labor for any reasonable price. I may be able to provide myself and one other plus the truck. I'd need to know the precise width if the 6 foot 11 inches you have is an estimate. If that is the correct dimension is that including any wooden frame? (4/20/2008)
Response: The dimensions are 6'9" x 7'2" x 37.5". This is taken from the manufacturer and it includes the wooden frame. I can help move the tub also. The only thing we would have to do is put in on the side on a dolly and move it from the back of the house to the front since there is about a six foot narrow pathway that we have to go through. I can probably provide one other person along with myself. How much are you willing to offer. Do you have a dolly? Do you have hydraulic lift on your truck? (4/20/2008)
Response: The weight of this item is the issue. With 4 persons each has 2 lift 225 pounds. On its side on my handtruck the person pulling the handtruck could B overwhelmed with weight, since the other people will B on the sides guiding it along. If it's 37 inches tall then about helf would be on the handtruck. No lift gate. My truck is 3.5 ft off the ground and 7 feet wide so it would hold it. If we got the item 2 the truck the handtruck could be turned sideways & let the bottom of the tub lean over onto the back of the truck & everyone would then pick up the other side & slid it on, depending on how easily it slides. We would need 2 get maybe 2/3 of it on the truck & the other 1/3 sticking out could not fall out, impossible. The distance is close, we drive very slow with u behind the truck. I'll be in Baltimore either the morning of the 9th or 10th. I would B going 2 Labor Finders 4 a helper. Each helper cost $54, minimum of 4 hours. I could get 2 helpers. Bid $300 to me & Uship adds the fee in (4/21/2008)
