Very interested. I have to coordinate these details with the breeder in Canton. The 13th probably wouldn't be a problem but I know she works during the week so I will have to see if someone will be there to give you the puppy if you don't arrive until the 14th. Do you accept paypal for payment of your services? I also have to make sure that I can get the payment for the puppy to the breeder in time and that she can supply everything you request for the trip...health record and certificate, and puppy food. So the timing of your trip might actually be perfect if the breeder is available.
I *should* be there by the afternoon/evening of the 13th. I just don't want to tell you that for SURE and then not be there until the morning of the 14th.
I can accept paypal, but it takes 3 days to clear. If you don't mind, I'd rather get cash upon delivery since its a small amount or else paypal by 3 days prior to pick up. That's up to you.
Thanks a lot!
Becca
I just got off the phone with the breeder. The 13th will work perfectly for her. If you don't arrive until the 14th, she said her neighbor would be able to give you the puppy as long as it is after 10 AM. The breeder works full time so she won't be there on the 14th to meet you. If it is at all possible to get there on the 13th, that would work out perfectly. My biggest concern is that the neighbor could possibly give you the wrong puppy...I am really worried about that! The breeder also needs to call her vet tomorrow to make sure she can get the puppy in to get the health certificate. I would be happy to pay you in full in cash when you deliver the puppy to me. This is my expense so I can't ask the breeder to pay half at pick up. Let me know your thoughts.
Ok. That is all ok with me. One of you can text me a picture of the pup if I don't get there until the 14th, but I will do everything in my power to be there by the evening of the 13th. Would she be ok with it being late? Like 9 or 10 p.m.?
Just want to be sure of a couple of things...we don't need a kennel carrier for the puppy...you have your own, correct? Also, when I went to accept your bid, uship wants me to pay a deposit but it states on your payment terms that you have no way of accepting payment through uship...is it ok to pay the deposit they are requesting through their payment method? The puppy is only 10 weeks old and too young for a rabies vaccine...is that OK? I have already heard from the breeder this morning and she can get the puppy in for a health certificate later this week. She was wondering why the health certificate was necessary if she has proof of first puppy vaccine on the health record...she usually only needs a health certificate issued if a puppy is being transported by air. Let me know if you still need the health certificate for a puppy...she wants to charge me for that.
Health certificate is required any time you cross state lines, regardless of shipping method.Yes, pay the deposit vis uship to get contact info. I have my own carriers, so yours is not necessary. At that age the rabies is not required, just health certificate.
