Question: I ran the quick math on the mileage, its 210 miles from watertown to your location. Roughly 200 miles to your destination and then 210 miles back to Watertown = 620 miles / 11 hours of driving on mapquest one way. Round trip: at 11 MPG the fuel consumption is 113 gallons x $4.3 per gallon (fuel has risen roughly $2 per gallon since last year) round trip door to door pick up and drop off of your horse not including the 12% commission to USHIP. If you doubld up with another horse in your area going 2 the event and split the commission with the other party then I could do it for less than $400. Round Trip Offer for multiple horses: (2 horses = $350 each commission included, 3 horses = $280 each commission included) That would dedicate the truck and trailer to your requested movement dates. Otherwise I cannot offer you the single horse rate ($400) price at this time without taking a loss because I cannot guarentee a follow on horse movement to off set cost. (4/2/2008)
