Question: Hello! It's Jim Hawkins here, owner of Walt Roberts Farms. I will be in the Greenville, SC area Tuesday 11/6/07. I wondered if this would work for your pick up. My farm is in north central NC in Madison. I noticed in another msg that you are out of town for a period of time. Response: I will know tomorrow morning when I speak to my boss, but could be the 9th or could be the 16th. We just won a huge contract and I have to go on a requirements gathering spree before Thanksgiving. Can I answer tomorrow? Or is that too late? (11/4/2007)

Response: I was hoping the day after Thanksgiving, but I realize that is not always possible. It would just give me time not at the office to get him acclimated. I am willing to take him sooner if I can arrange time off work. (11/5/2007)

Response: That sounds great. I have a question...how big is your trailer? If my father happens to buy a mule from this guy would he fit in it, too? Charlie is 17 hands high and 1500-1600 pounds. The mule would be 15-16 hands. It will probably just be my horse, but...OH. Or he is also thinking about buying a horse on 81 which I can see is on the route. If I send more particulars can you give me an estimate for both of them? (11/5/2007)

Response: Hmmm. Let me talk to my dad tomorrow. This may be very doable. He hasn't had a horse in years and this was going to be "our" thing we do together. He hasn't been feeling well and the thought of having a horse again perked him up. His horse would also come to our house. It's a 14.3 hands Appaloosa. (11/5/2007)
