Question: hello, are you sure on your posted dimensions? 16 feet high is a problem load. 16 feet wide is too but can be done. (8/29/2007)
Response: I'm not sure actually. I was wanting some estimates on price range for the trailer we own to be hauled from Blue Island IL (Chicago) to California. I know it is 16 feet wide for sure, not sure about the height. We guessed. Standard height for a trailer home whatever that may be. Thank you for your interest. (8/30/2007)
Response: Thankyou, I really need exact sizes because theres no way to give you an estimate without them. Please measure height if the highest point is 13' 6" above the roadway or less it will save you money, I think it prob. is. Thanks, Mike-High Desert Transportation (8/30/2007)
Question: you are looking at approx. $9000.00 total which includes escorts, permits, tires, and fuel. height on average home is 13'4" 16 wide is a fee and 72 feet long is a fee, each state charges the fee and approx. 30-60 dollars per state for permits. if interested let me know. Question: hi i would not be interested in doing this job for the reason that it is not worth dragging a unit that far with no warranty of a return haul for that little amount, however, i will tell you that you better be sure to route your california route out, they require police escorts on certain roads, (this is very expensive). you would not need any escort in texas, one in arizona, two in california except for certain roads, two in mo, one in illinois etc... i wish you the best, and you movers that are bidding this so cheap had better do your homework, good luck... Question: been doing a little research for you just cause I was interested the total cost of permits to run this load with escorts if four states as required is almost 7000.00 according to what ca told me it is going to be 2000 just to get from the line to delivery point (10/28/2007)
