Question: How far will it need to be transported to. I will be in Seattle tommorow, and can help you out with this then. What did you have in mind for a budget? (8/18/2008)

Response: I am considering this a junk haul to a trasnfer station. I have no destination, I just could't get the USHIP interface to clarify that. (8/18/2008)

Response: How far is the transfer station, do they charge by the pound, and what are you willing to pay for this. I may have to do it in two loads. (8/18/2008)

Response: There is a transfer station within 1/4 mile of our office, (200 yards as the crow flies) it is directly across the street, but you need to drive around a specified road to get there so 1/2 mile total is about right. They use a weigh scale, I've never see them use dimensions.
North Transfer Station

Seattle, WA 98103
206-684-8400
Mon-Sun: 8am - 5:30pm (8/18/2008)

Response: Ok, I still need to know what you can pay for this, to see if I can work it in. Thanks! (8/18/2008)

Response: I'm guessing that the overall weight is quite low, so you would face a max of $100 for two trips to the dump. So $125 on top of that so $225? (8/18/2008)

Response: OK I WILL TOUCH BASE IN THE MORNING WHEN I AM THERE, AND WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT THEN. THANKS! (8/18/2008)

Response: I am in at 8 but need a little time - when are you coming approx and do you have a 4ft high deck or does this need street loading? (8/18/2008)

Response: Probably around noonish? My bed is probably 3 1/2 ft of the ground and is 8 x 8 1/2. We'll figure it out! (8/18/2008)

Response: I assume you'll need cash $225 correct?
I'm signig off but will see my email in the AM (8/18/2008)

Response: Cash or one of your kids! Whichever is easier to give up. But NO teenagers!!! (8/18/2008)

Response: Gotcha, we'll do $100 on run number one and $125 on run number two! (8/19/2008)

Response: OK, I AM A COUPLE HOURS FROM SEATTLE. (8/19/2008)
