Response: Pickup date is flexible within reason because auction doesn't end until late on 20 Aug; however, the shipping cost quoted makes my purchase cost prohibative. Thanks for responding. (8/19/2008)
Question: WHAT IS YOUR BUDGET (8/19/2008)
Response: I was trying to keep shipping cost below $150 but realize that may not be realistic given fuel costs. The need for shipping is contingent on the final price for tires on eBay and I won't know that until around 5 pm EDT today, 20 Aug. At $350 shipping cost, even if I win the tires for the starting bid price, that makes total cost more than I can buy the tires locally. The only additional consideration with these eBay tires over local purchase is that these size tires are hard to find anymore. If you can cut me some slack on shipping, that would help make my decision but my decision is still contingent on winning the tires for at or near the starting bid price later today.
