Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, I am a legal hauler. I may be interested if you want it hauled on a flatbed w/ramps. Once I know time frame and if you win I will give you a bid. Thanks (11/4/2009)
Response: Can you pleae give me a ballpark as without having an idea of what shipping can cost I cannot bid on the splitter. Thank you. (11/4/2009)
Response: Hi, ballpark could be from 400 to 800 depending on time frame, if I have another item to go with it, and if I'm going to that area during the time frame, lots of if's. If you're new to U ship you may want to read all the recommendations also about verifying haulers to be legal so your property and your liability are covered by ins. Interstate "for hire" transport requires an MC# (motor carrier#), USDOT# and commercial liability and cargo ins. Thanks (11/4/2009)
Response: Thank you. I understand the lot's of if and the lower side versus the upper is more in line with what I was thinking. As far as the time frame we can be very flexible. (11/4/2009)
Response: Hi, being flexible helps to find another item to go along with it. I have a 25' flatbed w/ramps (see pic in profile). You may also want to review feedback and cancellations of prospective haulers and VERIFY they are legal. Easiest way I've found is to give you my ins agents ph# so you can verify with him I'm legal and your property and liability (as employer) is covered completely. Thanks (11/4/2009)
Response: Ok (11/6/2009)
Question: Hello Shipper, I have a driver heading back to New England from Texas and he will be able to pick this up for $700.00. I will have to put a quick expiration on this because we are trying to line something up for his return and don't want do be caught with two transports and one truck. Does that seem like a fair price? Please advise and I will submit a formal bid. Thanks, Peter (11/4/2009)
Response: Thank you for your offer. First I have to win the auction. Second I was hoping to pay about $400.00. Again, thank you for your consideration. (11/4/2009)
Response: Hello again, At what time will the auction end? My driver will be passing through Tennessee tomorrow afternoon, so maybe we can still put this together. Thanks, Peter (11/5/2009)
Response: Did you ever provide a quote on the hauling? (11/6/2009)
Question: Hi again, let me know if you win tomorrow I may be able to help you out. Thanks (11/5/2009)
Response: Ok (11/6/2009)
Question: could it be towed or would you rather have it trailered? (11/7/2009)
Response: As long as it gets here undamaged and in one piece is doesn't make a difference to me. Thank you for your interest. (11/7/2009)
Response: I can get it there in one piece is the tires in good condition and the bearings good? (11/7/2009)
Response: I am waiting on photo's to finalize the deal. I have been told the entire machine is in great shape. What would your cost be to deliver? (11/7/2009)
Response: I could do it for $300. It dimensions correct? If it is a little smaller I could load it on the flat bed of my truck. (11/7/2009)
Response: You number sounds great we will let you know if we can finalize the deal with the seller. (11/7/2009)
Response: sounds good. (11/7/2009)
Response: It turns out the splitter is currently in Athens GA. It can be picked up there or the seller can have it in Nashville right after Thanksgiving. Does the Athens location or the timing for pick up in Nashville work with your schedule? (11/9/2009)
Response: If it could be taken to Nashville that would be better. (11/10/2009)
Response: Nashville is fine can you make it work for a pickup after Thanksgiving? (11/11/2009)
Response: yes i can (11/11/2009)
Response: Great. Please submit a bid so we can get the purchase and shipping finalized. (11/11/2009)
Response: does the trailer have lights on it and a plate else I have lights. (11/14/2009)
Response: Nick, No the trailer does not have lights and a plate is not necessary because the splitter is not registered. Are you still good for a pick up after Thanksgiving? If so please provide a bid so that we can accept? Als oa phone number would be good so that we can speak. Thank you. Pete (11/16/2009)
Response: Could I pick up the log splitter around 5am Friday December 4 in the morning, I will be around Nashville at 1am and then drop off that night? I will have tow lights on the trailer, they are magnetic. My truck has mud flaps on it but I can not guarantee salt from getting on it, or something from hitting it like a small rock on the road since It will be towed. I will do my best to have it in the same condition as when I pick it up. If you agree to this then I will bid. (11/17/2009)
Response: I need to speak to the seller to confirm. Please provide a phone number or email address so that I can contact you once he and I have spoken. Thank you. (11/17/2009)
Response: I can not give you that because I will be kicked off. sorry (11/17/2009)
