Question: Hi Can this be picked up on Saturday, November 7. I would be coming from NY with a 16' truck with lift gate. I depart for the west coast on 11/9. I would deliver on 11/16. Can you also elaborate on the "31 steps" in San Francisco. thanks thzig (11/4/2009)
Response: The timing is fine. The piano belonged to my Dad who has just gone into a nursing home. It can get here any time over the next several months. We also have 4 to 5 standard sized boxes of family memorabilia and sheet music to ship. It can be picked up on November 7th. There is a walkway with steps up to the front of the house and then one flight of stairs. (11/5/2009)

Response: To give you more detail: 1. At the house where the piano is currently located, there are 4 to 5 steps down to the sidewalk. 2. At the location where the piano is to be delivered, there are 31 steps up to the floor where the piano needs to be moved. 3. The piano includes a piano bench. 4. There are about 5 boxes of family memorabilia and sheet music accompanying the piano. These boxes can easily be handled by one person and do not need to be carried at the delivery location. 5. The pickup and delivery timing and price are fine. If the above conditions are acceptable, please send a formal quote reply. (11/8/2009)
