Listing Information
  • Three wheeled EV from NM to FL
  • Length:8 ft.
  • Width:4 ft.
  • Height:5 ft.
  • Weight:400 lbs.
Additional Information: Recently purchased, but it's my responsibility to arrange shipping. Trailer not part of purchase, vehicle only. Batteries are gel-cells, no acid spillage concern. Windows are vinyl, can be removed, but vehicle will not handle unprotected transport. Probably would be okay on bottom rack of vehicle carrier, if three wheels won't cause problem. New at this, suggestions and questions appreciated. Carlsbad to Daytona Beach. Please note: the batteries that power this vehicle are non-working and the vehicle will have to be pushed/rolled on and off the carrier. It's only spec'd at 350 pounds, so it should roll easily. Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello, I would sugest an enclosed trlr, which by the way I have. I will be going to Hobbs,El Paso, ALBQ,Den back to E.P. then back to Ormond Beach inlate Mar and Early April. I can haul this back for your target price if you can wait till then. Thanks RBT (2/19/2008)
Response: Russ, I checked your profile and I very much would consider to take you up on the offer, if nothing else comes in before you're ready to roll. The timeline is not critical. One condition, though, you have to leave the snow behind and not bring any of it to Florida with you in April! Great photo of your rig. Should I wait to accept your offer until then or accept it currently? As noted, I'm new at this... (2/19/2008)
Response: You can accept now if you want. Let me know and I will bid,you agree,it's a done deal and no snow. Thank You For CK. Me Out and Thank You. Russ (2/19/2008)
Response: I think it's a great deal, but if you don't mind, I'd like to see if someone is heading this way on an earlier run. If not, I'll take your bid and consider it a completed deal. If the listing is active near the end of March, I'll accept a bid. Thanks for understanding. (2/20/2008)
Response: Yes I understand, I might be able to do this next week, I'll let you know and maybe you will have it for bike week. Thanks Russ (2/20/2008)
Response: That would definitely be an accepted contract! Please also note that the vehicle has dead batteries, and would have to be pushed on and off, but at 350 pounds, it's not much of a problem, I would expect. Thanks very much! (2/20/2008)
Response: Could you get batt. charged? Just in case I would have to move it out to get to a car in frt of trlr and then move you to the frt. (2/20/2008)
Response: It's not just that the batteries are not charged, it's that they are too old to hold any charge. They are probably sulfated and I expect to have to replace them. I'm glad this came up, as I don't want to make this a problem for anyone. (2/20/2008)
Response: OK, not a prob. Just have to put it in first. Should now if I will be able to leave on your trip when I get back next week about the 26th, Russ (2/21/2008)
Response: Looking forward to hearing from you after the 26th, thanks (2/26/2008)
Response: My early trip didnot work out. The trip for late is a go,sorry. If still available let me know by req. a bid Thanks RBT (2/26/2008)
Response: Is there an easy way to find your entry to request a bid? I've checked your profile page and there is no "request a bid" option there. When I use the "request a bid" link within the site, it gives me 650 pages of providers with no way to search by name. I suppose this is a newbie sort of thing... (2/26/2008)
Response: As I don't see your side I am lost also, somewhere it is there as I have had bid req. in past. I will keep your listing on my list to watch. So it should stay open???? RBT (2/26/2008)
Response: Please to allow it to remain open, as once I can find the right place to request a bid from you, I will do so. If I have to search 650 pages, so it goes. You'd think that the site would put a "request bid" link within a provider's profile page or similar location, but it's not visible from my end. If you have the option to create a connection from your end, I will accept it. (2/26/2008)
Response: OK, Putting bid in now (2/27/2008)
