Response: Ok, sorry im getting back to you so late. Thanks for the bid it sounds reasonable. First the weight, the stated weight is 14600 with keel. I live aboard so my stuff adds to that some. the beam i listed is wrong its 10'-10"... its a fin keel and is 11'6" from bottom to the top of the rail... the 11'6" is a little fuzzy because Catalina only gives the measurements on a cradle design page and I can't figure if thats with or without the cradel. The mast length is 42' or 43'. I am trying to get to Corpus Christi in January but i'm flexible after 1 Nov. (8/21/2008)

Response: ok sounds great I will be able to accomodate you no problem, sometime this winter is fine I normally don't book that far out due to fuel and such, but now I take anything I can get, this price is for right now or within a month we can make a deal whenever you want but at this far out there may be a liablity of a fuel surcharge which I never do but as an example if fuel were to go up 1.00 per gallon that would be a 200-250 surcharge I would only charge the difference nothing more. one more question.....fin keel wahts the draft? Response: the surcharge is fine with me. i'm looking at the 1st week in December. The corpus christi city marina has a yard and lift so thats my final destination. i plan to contact them soon and at least make sure there are no problems. anything in that area you know about and would make your life easier? I figure Diversified which is across the bay from my marina for the haul out and de-mast. I can let this uship bid expire and contact you directly or accept it depending on what you want. Response: according to the rules, I cannot give you my contact info or they will suspend my account, of course they are in business too. I wish I knew what marina you were at but I gotta play by the rules here sometimes this site is a lifesaver, in all likeliness if your boat is in ft myers your marina has my card, I am Naples based, and have used all of them I believe. As far as a marina in corpus I have only dealt with one there I cant remember the name but I didnt take their card for a reason they don't make my life easy, but I do have people in the area that can give me a reference, that corpus city marina is a different one and wouldn't mind trying them out to see for future. On the ft myers side Gulf Marine ways and supply is top notch and fairly priced. (8/23/2008)
