Hi there, This is Liz from CHVentures. We will be leaving MO for Alaska getting up to MT around June 15th. If that is not too late we could take Tank with us then. We are dog lovers & love big dogs. Last week we transported a mature Great Dane from ID to MO. We are DOT compliant & insured. We will be dropping horses off in Palmer & Anchorage. We have extra large crates on board - 28" x 46" Price would be $575. If this will work for you please let me know & I will place a formal bid. Thanks :)Report a Violation
Response: June 15th would probably work for me but I was hoping you could give me a date that you might make it to Anchorage so I know how long the trip will be. So $575 would be the complete total? Or is there other charges? Also Tank is actually in Roundup which is 48 miles out of Billings, MT but I would have someone meet you in Billings if you could meet at like Wal Mart or something rather than a residence.Hope to hear from you soon and hope we can make it all work, thanks.5/26/2011Report a Violation
Response: LOL! Used to live in MT for 7 years so know Billings & Roundup pretty well. I have just looked at the map & it only adds about 12 miles to my trip to go to Roundup & across SO if we could meet at the Gas station opposite the IGA Grocery store in Roundup that would be fantastic. I am planning on being in Anchorage by Monday June 21st but this is a long haul so time will tell - could be a day later or earlier. I will keep in good communication. As far as I know there should be NO extra charges to cross the border - all we need is current vaccination records, must have current rabies tag & certificate & info on who the dog belongs to & the delivery address. I will ask Richard in the morning as I know he talked to the border about this. Thanks, Liz I will place a bid for you right now so you can look it over. 5/26/2011Report a Violation
Response: Lol! What are the chances? Meeting at the gas station would work wonderfully. You would be picking him up from my brother in law and he has access to all his shot records so that wont be a problem. My only problem now is that it seems that I can only scrape up about $450 right now. I don't know if you guys are negotiable with your prices at all but if you would consider doing it for that price I would appreciate it. Please let me know either way and we will try to work something out. 5/27/2011Report a Violation
Response: Hi there, Richard has confirmed to me that there should be no extra fees crossing the border :) Supposed to be a very simple process. We cannot drop our price as with the UShip fees which we do not receive we are only getting just over $500. We do take Paypal so you can pay by credit card PLUS we only require a 50% deposit ($250) at booking & the other $250 can be paid at delivery giving you time to save up a little. Hope this all works out. Thanks, Liz5/27/2011Report a Violation
Hi there, It's Liz again :) You have asked us to rebid - what has changed from your first listing? Are you still interested in the price of $575? Thanks.Report a Violation
Response: Oh, I am sorry I didn't mean to do that. I realized I had the wrong zip code it's still in Anchorage I must have just mistyped. Yes, I am interested I am trying to get all my finances in order and I should have answer by tonight. That is what I am shooting for. I will get in touch with you either way as soon as I know. Thanks.5/31/2011Report a Violation
Response: No worries :) When you change the destination, UShip automatically cancels the bids. I have placed the same bid again so that you have something to accept :) Thanks, Liz5/31/2011Report a Violation
Response: Hey there Liz, I am getting my call tonight about Tank so I will let you know first thing in the morning. I also had a question for you, I have a lot of my personal belongings in Montana that I need in Alaska, nothing big just clothes mostly, but there would probably be 5 or 6 fairly big boxes and I was curious if you would be able to ship something like that, and if you could give me an idea on the cost for something like that. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.6/1/2011Report a Violation
Response: Hi there, Yes we can ship the boxes for you as long as they contain nothing hazardous! LOL! Clothes are fine :) If we clear out over the gooseneck then the boxes could go in there & be dry. The height of that compartment is 29" so boxes cannot be taller than that. Price would be an additional $100. I am headed out on the road tomorrow for a trip before the AK one so I may be slower to respond to you as I only check my email at night when traveling. Feel free to call me though on my cell phone number ending in FOUR THREE once you accept the bid. Just as an update it is looking like I will be in Roundup Wednesday afternoon/evening, June 15th. Of course I will be in touch along the way to keep everyone informed of my progress once the trip starts. Thanks, Liz6/1/2011Report a Violation
Response: So just so I'm not confused, you are saying it would be $100 extra to the total or $100 per box? And you can fit 5 or 6 in there? 6/1/2011Report a Violation
Response: Oh goodness - didn't mean to confuse you. Total for all the boxes would be $100 :) We should be able to fit 5-6 in there as it starts off at 6'6" wide & tapers back but is 7' deep so it is quite roomy. Hope this clarifies things for you. Liz6/1/2011Report a Violation
Response: Lol ok just checking. Ya, I heard that they are opening the roads today and they are getting everything cleaned up so it should be fine when you go through. Still waiting on a call about Tank will tell you as soon as I know. Thanks so much for your quick responses, will get in touch with you as soon as I know something. Thanks again.6/1/2011Report a Violation
Oh meant to say, have you heard anything about the flooding in Roundup? I was just talking to my daughter-in-law & she said Roundup was under a LOT of water. Hope it has cleared before we head that way. LizReport a Violation
Response: Hi there, it looks like everything is a go on my end for Tank and the boxes, I am just not sure if I need to make a separate listing for the boxes so you guys can but a bid on it or if you can just add it to the total. As soon as I hear from you on how to go about that I will accept your bid. I don't have a bank account up here in Alaska yet but my dad has a debit card number that he can give you, or however you prefer I can do it that way as far as the first half goes, and then I can give you cash when you make it up here for the second half. I appreciate all your help and patience. Hope to hear from you soon. Take care.6/3/2011Report a Violation
Response: When you accept the current bid, UShip will take a "deposit" which is their fees. We will then receive each other's contact info so we can talk which will make things much easier. You can then provide an email address that I can send the Paypal invoice for the 50% deposit. COD for the remainder is fine. Look forward to working with you & meeting you in AK :) Liz6/3/2011Report a Violation
