Question: would this bike fit in the back of a s.u.v? im going to wisconsin next week. thanx xpedited transport. Dave (6/6/2008)

Response: It might, depends on how much room you have. With the front wheel removed (quick release so no problem) the bike should be roughly 7' long, 3' tall and 20" wide at the handlebars. The rear wheel can come off as well reducing length by perhaps 15" although in any event care will need to be taken because of the chain and deraileur for the gear shifting. If this will work for you let me know where in Wisconsin you are ultimately headed. I live in Tomahawk, north central part of the state and I can arrange for a variety of drop points that might be better for you, or even for both of us. (6/6/2008)

Response: i live in sun city. i will be going to la crosse wi to pick up a boat. so we are not to far apart! if we can take off both wheels im sure it will go in! how much were you thinking? Dave (6/6/2008)

Response: Thanks Dave, LaCrosse is 150 miles from me and I don't have family there like Madison, BUT, I do have a business partner just up the river maybe 25 milesin Fountain City WI (see a map) and if that would work for you I can arrange for my partner to accept delivery and be sure you get paid.
Regarding cost? I'm not sure what to say. I know that to ship a bike like this it is oversize for UPS and they will charge about $125 they tell me, but I would have to have someone box it and clearly they won't do that for nothing but it would come to my home. So what are you thinking?
I have read your feedback and it all sounds good to me as far as your care with customer products. This is a fairly valuable bike so I guess I am like most people and would want to know you'll take care, if the wheels are coming off etc things won't be stacked up and subject to bending and scratching. (hope I don't sound too anal here) (6/6/2008)

Response: yes i can do that! no problem. i would take the best care of your bike! i will do this and wrap the bike and ship it door to door for 200.00. let me know and ill place a bid for you. thanx Dave (6/6/2008)

Response: Dave, I need to know a couple of things I guess, when are you planning to leave SC and arrive in WI. I have to be sure I can get may payment to my friend in SC so she can exchange my payment for the bike but the bike owner is a ploce offer in El Mirage so that won't be aproblem. Door to door in this instance is SC to ?? Fountain City or ??? (6/6/2008)

Response: ya i can bring it to fountain city. you said thats just north of la crosse? i can do this next week sometime. we can nail it down. accept the bid and ill take care of ya! Dave (6/6/2008)

Response: Right, on the Mississippi about 25 miles north. Dave, I'm inclined to do this with you but will be talking with the boss when she gets home in a couple hours. It is 3:30 here. So you do not yet have a deadline date to leave SC? As I said my payment for this purchase has to get to my friend in SC who will be taking the bike in exchange for that payment and I cannot mail it until tomorrow. I expect she will have payment by Tuesday if I expedite the mailing process. I'll get back to you early evening our time. Thanks (6/6/2008)

Response: no problem. im flex on the date i can pick it up on your terms! ill wait to hear back from you! Dave (6/6/2008)
