Response: I have a "driveaway" price that is fairly economical. Of course, he's using my truck to make the delivery, so I have some wear and tear to figure in. Also, he has to buy a return ticket. Also, a lot of shippers are set up at the auction site and I was waiting to see if one of them needed to fill out a load, especially if they can arrange a backhaul. I have no real "target" price ... I'm merely comparing with other quotes. Thanks for your quote. BTW, if I elect to use a hauler I can tell you that my low quote is just over $2000, which appears to be $2.50 per loaded mile (you are around $3). (5/30/2008)
