Response: Hi Gene, Sorry for the delay in reply, the place where I bought the desk is only open on the weekends so I had to buy it before arranging shipping but I would be interested in seeing if you might want to ship it. The exact dimensions are ( in inches) 37.5 L 44 tall and 18.5 wide, and the desk weighs 65 pounds, not 100 as I had thought. The sellers have a loading dock You would have to blanket wrap it and prep the item And I wanted to know Can you provide insurance? Can you provide a Bill of Lading? What might your dates be? Iwould love a pickup this weekend when the retail shop is open but I know that may not be enough notice for you. Response: hi kate and thanks for responding - we provide a carrier bill of lading and are fully insured ( we will provide you with a copy of our certificate) as far as weekend pickup ,that presents a problem for us- if it was the ny area then that would be fine but were only in the d/c area mon-fri approx 4 days a week - let me know if this can work and we can set it up from there - either way good luck and hope to speak soon thanks gene easternstatetrucking (2/21/2009)

Response: HI Gene I think you guys should be able to coordinate for a p/u during the week the shop owner gave me his cell # for shippers so you can coordinate with them while the shop is closed. The only thing is you'd have to keep me in the loop, and I still need, if at all possible,delivery within the next 14 days or so. What I would like to do is: -accept your bid today,have you call the shop owner -if after you speak you find that you cant coordinate a pickup in the next 10-14 days or so, cancel the bid since it will not fit my schedule. Before I accept the bid please let me know does the 150 include: - insurance, bill of lading, you packaging/ blanket wrap on pickup? - going up 2 flights of stairs here ( not very bad or narrow) , with my help? - delivery when I am home,which may be 6pmish M-F or anytime weekends Please let me know, thanks very much best kate (2/22/2009)

Response: its a full service bid -fully insured we provide you with a certificate of insurance - we wrap ,pack and strap on truck- we can pick this up between tues and thurs and have it to you by thurs or fri delivered to your 2 nd floor - we always have a 2 man team on these type of moves so you have to touch nothing -- lets get it booked thanks gene (2/22/2009)

Response: Hi Chad that sounds ok but the shop is closed during the week and you would have to coordinate with the seller to pick it up. They do this all the time and they provide a cell # contact but if you are only there on weekends it wont work. Response: You don't have to worry. The items will not be damaged. I have good setup with blankets to protect them. They will secured in the vehicle so they are not throw around. Van transported. What day of the week is good? If I come in the evening this week? BOLs and insurance is not a problem. I will bid 120.00. (2/22/2009)

Response: Hi Chad, Thanks for the reply If I accepted your bid I would put you directly in touch with the seller in Maryland and you would have to coordinate a time to pick up with them. The retail shop is open 12- 5 weekends but they make weekday appts with shippers to pick up. They do this a lot but I don't know their schedule you'd have to coordinate with them. As for me here in Brooklyn, Im pretty flexible on the receiving end, I work most weekdays until 5 ish and am around weekends We could do this: I could accept your bid, you can call them and speak with them about scheduling a pickup and if you guys can't figure out a time to coordinate within the next 10-14 days or so maybe I'll cancel the job since it wont fit my time frame? does that sound reasonable ? let me know thanks very much best Kate (2/22/2009)
