Question: Hi, is the Information correct, she needs to be in port by the 30th of January? Do you have the dock receipt? are you having the arch removed and the boat shrink wrapped? Time is very limited in getting this across the country considering weather, and it wil take more time to adress the issues mentioned above. (1/17/2009)

Response: I would love her wrapped. But do not need the arch removed.
I just would like your price include the cradle as well from water to the harbour.
Thanks
Regards (1/17/2009)

Response: Hi, since shipping cost is based on volume, why would'nt you remove the arh, I am just curious. We prep and ship 150 boats a year over seas. I can shrinkwrap on site, and I have cradles all ready made, I just could not get to it until 2nd week in Febuary. I am delivering a 34 Sundancer to CA, and could do yours on the return trip. (1/17/2009)

Response: I am not a pro, if you think this is better please do it. The only pb is my boat needs to be in baltimore January 30th.
Sorry. (1/17/2009)

Question: How much are you looking to spend for a cradle? Thank you. (1/17/2009)

Response: Hi, Honestly I have no idea. Just something cheap.
Thanks

(1/17/2009)

Response: We do a lot of overseas transports, too. Our experience is that typically the owner (or freight-forwarder) arranges to transport the boat while separately contracting for a cradle to be made at the target delivery port. Sometimes you can get lucky and locate a cradle at the pick-up point which can then be transported along with the boat. You sound like you are under a short fuse - perhaps someone can locate a "cheap" one for you (we can't) - but I wouldn't spin too many wheels in this direction because you are facing a winter transport heading back to Baltimore. Question: Sounds like there were lein and logistics problems with first Hauler. Have these situations been resolved? Boat needs to be a a marina with lift and free of any encumberances, before the Hauler shows up to load. Please advise and we'll bid appropriately. (1/23/2009)

Response: Not really, the boat has been released. My credentials needed to be checked, and with monday closed, lawyer did not do the job quickly enough.
I am not a pro. The other truck driver had the opportunity to kake another job, waht he did. Do you need a crane please?
or is there an other way to load the boat.
Thanks for asking (1/23/2009)

Response: Yes, all haulers will require crane lift on/off with a boat this size. How soon can you have legalities cleared up, and boat situated at a marina with crane to load? (1/23/2009)

Response: All is clear, marina fees paid, and documents checked by a lawyer...
I will call the marina about the crane. (1/23/2009)
