Additional Information: Size and weight are estimates. It is a parts car, 1952 Studebaker Champion. No engine or trans so should be light weight. Hood is off so needs to be fastened down. Rolls but tires are probably bad, best on a flatbed or trailer, not towed unless you have some good tires (Ford/Chrysler 5 bolt pattern) This is a $100 parts car. I expect to pay more to move it than I paid to buy it but hopefully not a whole lot more. Probably not worth a special trip but if someone is coming this way empty this could make you a few dollars. Photo is from last winter, there is no snow on it now. I will be travelling about 10 to 15 October so I may not be able to answer emails but my wife will be here to receive the car if someone wants to move it then. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: JUst thought I would let you know that im still available, will be in the area this saturday for a pick up. (10/11/2007)
Response: Saturday not a good day. Family will be busy. A difficult situation. I bought the car last spring and seller is not making me move it right away but it needs to move. I retired from the army last year and planned to go back to Iraq as civilian but that didn't work out so have been unemployed a year. Was in Tennessee last few months, got back ten days ago and finally just now got a job in ARIZONA for a year. So I am hustling to leave in the next couple hours to drive out there by Monday. But still need the car moved here, my wife is usually here. Need to get it here and pushed in the basement right away as I live in town, don't want any problems with authorities. Seller also has irregular schedule, travels but he says he has a friend near where the car is that can help. So if we can work out the logistics we might be able to make a deal. Distance on uship was roundabout way taking the freeway, on Yahoo maps it gives a shorter distance on state roads. (10/11/2007)
Response: Ok, ill cancel my bid and put in a better bid for you. We can work out dates after that. I do have a trip to NJ planned soon. Ill be empty on my way down. Its not to far out of the way, I can move your car then. say around the 27 of oct? (10/12/2007)
Response: Sorry, I don't mean to jerk you around on the Studebaker. I got a job out of town and things back home are taken care of by my wife. She has no appreciation for old cars. She doesn't want it in the garage, wants her car there. Says we can put it at her mother's place up the street. Five acres there, should be room. But then we have to wait for her to make a place for it. etc etc etc. Women and cars, a pain in the *(%$^&*. I bought the car last spring and keep begging the seller for more time to move it, then the wife says "Just move it later". Seller hanging on and you hanging on waiting, and I am out of town, can't take care of it myself. Got to move the car, it is the parts car for my 49 convertible dream car I am building. I see your last bid has just expired. Are you still available when I finally get this straightened out so that when it is done it will go smooth? (10/21/2007)
Response: Yes I will be still available, for you. I will resubmit a bid, If you accept it then we can discuse a date when to move it over the phone. I could probably move it for you tomorow at the earlyest. (10/22/2007)
Question: pushed into basement? (10/11/2007)
Response: It just needs to be dropped off and rolled into the garage. Just a few feet. No heavy lifting involved. Seller says it rolls. If that is a big problem I can find someone to push it for me. I just don't want it sitting in the driveway so long it attracts attention and complaints from the neighbors. It is old and ugly. I am off to Arizona. Will be off the web for a few days. Should have left yesterday. MWS (10/11/2007)
