Questions for this shipment:

Question: I'm not a trucker. But I have a truck in Henderson That I'm bringing to Oakland. It's a 23' boxtruck/ The truck has Insurance and a steel bet for gorklift. I can pick your load up next weekfor $800. Please let me know. Chris (7/6/2006)
Response: Hi Chris Thanks for your inquiry. We are looking for someone that can transport the whole order. The 18" pipe alone weighs over 529,000 lbs so it would take many trips in your truck. The most you could fit in the 23' bed is 15 at a time w/ a weight of over 22,000 lbs per load. Since there are 362 pieces of the 18" pipe it would take about 24 trips if your truck could handle that weight. (7/6/2006)
Question: Sorry. Your listing said total weight 7008 pounds. So I thought I could do it since my capability is 12,000 pounds. Thanks (7/6/2006)
Response: Thanks for your comments. I will make the description clearer. (7/6/2006)
Question: 529,000 lbs. Good luck I would like to see the equipment that will transport this . (7/6/2006)
Response: We estimate 31 trips will be needed using a 40' trailer. (7/6/2006)
Question: we hve a flatbed hauling division would be interested nam vet transportain (7/7/2006)
Response: Thank you for your response. Please let me know if you need any more details to give us a quote. I am guessing that due to the weight it would not be practical to stack the pipe which is in 8' lengths. So I estimate 20-30 trips depending on how you load it using a 40' flatbed. Please let me know if you have any questions. (7/7/2006)
Question: can put upto 48,000 lbs per load 1.00 all miles and 32 cents a gallon fuel surcharge nam vet transportation (7/7/2006)
Response: Thank you. If we assume 20 roundtrips that would be 11,680 miles + miles to 1st pickup + (.32 x gallons used)= ? Can you give us an estimate on fuel quantity & miles to 1st pickup? (7/7/2006)
Question: depending where we are it takes a few minuetes to locate trucks but as it stands now to where it is for pick up the fuel sc would be about 30.00 then after the first run we could tell you deff.... nam vet transportation (7/7/2006)
Response: Fair enough. I will see if I can get an estimate on fuel consumption so I have at least a rough ideer. (7/7/2006)
Question: all miles are 1.00 deadhead or other wise in that we will include the surcharge payment to be made on friday for the weeks work (7/7/2006)
Response: We need more help with this shipment ASAP. Do you have 53' flat available? If so we are prepared to go forward with terms you have described. Please submit bid if you have 53'er ready right away. I will accept it right away. (7/7/2006)
Question: jerry-this is droth with WRT Transportation.....as for the deposit, $600.00 would be sufficient, payable upon pickup of first load (7/19/2006)
Response: Hi Doug Please let me know all details related to placing the deposit. That is no problem once Cedric at the plant confirms a pickup has been made. So far today no pickups so it looks like we will not be recieving a load tomorrow. Please let me know what is going on. (7/19/2006)
