Response: hi dale i have 4 storage areas now filled with my house hold goods i would like to move as much of the contents of those storage mini garages. i would need someone to load the boxes if im not there and ship them down to florida if i am in florida i could unload at my house there maybe that helps... maybe i should list this ship differently regards mike thanks 4 the email (9/26/2007)

Response: Mike! I really need to know how much stuff is in these units. I find it hard to believe that anyone would want to do this for $1700. Are they full to the top, half full? What I can do is offer to fill my 30ft trailer full for you for an amount of $2500. We will load and unload this once we get there. I will say that we will fill the trailer with as much as we can for that amount, but I can not guarantee we can get all the stuff. Thanks Seth (1/2/2008)

Question: can these be moved on a open trailor with a tarp to protect against the elements? is there anything fragile you would be concern about? im thinking between my van and a 16 foot open trailor with built on sides 2 trips? i would like to know what you are willing to pay? on a per trip bases? i do need to return to my job jan 7th so let me know soon. id like to pick up dec 26 thru 28 1st load. Question: you basically have a 5 BEDROOM HOUSE of stuff, 4 10/15 units. One will not be able to move this without a 40/50 ft trailer. your cost would average $4000.00 to load and unload. This is a REALLY lot of stuff. you best raise your sites, because the larges UHAUL would take 2 trips, and cost you a minium of $3400.00 in fuel and truck rental and mileage.. goodluck (12/26/2007)

Response: thats funny i was already quoted 1500 to 2000 for the two 10 by 20 and two ten by 15 lockers the lockers are 50 percent full and are nowhere near the cubic footage of the lockers i am not looking for a lot of packaging expense i probably will abandon uship for moving because of the uncompetitive attitude on this site (12/29/2007)

Response: If I were you i'd JUMP ALL OVER $1500. Did you really think that it would be less expensive than $1500.00? You are asking 4 men to move 4 storage units with 750 Sq.Ft. of items to fill basically 1 50ft trailer and 1 28ft truck, and move the items 1300 miles. That is a killer deal. Response: our corporate office is in Chicago. although, I do not know if they based this on weight did they come out and look at it, we also have storage facility and know the basic weight of each of the units unless it is all boxes.
