Question: We experienced difficulty assigning a driver to this vehicle because the “book it now” price is too low—the cost of the job exceeds the pay. We have tried to assign a driver but have been unsuccessful at our attempts because the cost of paying the driver and the other costs associated with this shipment are more than the “book it now” price. Please keep in mind that we will only receive approximately 80% net after Uship takes their portion, so this further complicates our ability to assign a driver. Please edit and raise you “book it now” price by $150 and we think we can successfully assign a driver to your shipment, all things considered. Question: Thank you for bumping the "book it now" up--this will now net us $1465 after our Uship fee is $185 at booking. Honestly, we have been trying to get one of the drivers within our carrier network to take the vehicle at the prior "book it now" price, but none would accept the assignment. The drivers that contract with our company as an agent partner keep the COD portion as their wage, therefore they are picky about the amount being worth their while--if its too low they refuse to take the assignment. The new terms will be $350.00 billed to your card at booking and $1300.00 due to the driver in cash only COD at delivery. Are we in agreement?
