Response: As I said in the ad...the boat cannot be towed on the OEM tires and bearings. They are unsafe. The boat needs to be on a flatbed or trailer of some kind.

Last summer I shipped a Mazda Miata from Chicago to Clarkesville (750 miles) for $450.
Why would the boat cost more when it weighs 1/4 of what the car weighs?
The marina would help you load the little boat.

Response: Tom, 1)Mazda Miata-Can be driven up the trailer, takes about 30 seconds to drive up, 5 mins to strap and 5 mins to unstrap, 30 seconds off. 2)A boat will have to be loaded by hand w/winch up the trailer (Takes time and labor), this typically takes about 15-20 mins, then strap about 10 mins, then unstrap, then unload 15 mins. 3)I don't belive that this boat weighs 1/4 of the weight of a Miata (2,500lbs). I belive your boat most likly weighs more than 600lbs, but that is besides the point (weight is irrelevant in this case), a Miata is roughly 13'-2" long by about 6' wide(mirror to mirror), your boat is 14' long (From front to back) add another 1'-6" for outboad, about 3' for tongue of trailer and your at almost 19'(Roughly the size of a small pickup).It doesn't matter to us(fuel milage issue) if your boat weighed 1,000 lbs or 2,000 lbs, that little isn't going to make a difference. Response: Tom, thanks for the understanding. Can this boat be picked up on Sunday??? If so, this is the only way we can get it there by Monday (and would be evening at that, around 8:00pm). We have the camaro to pick up early Monday morning, your boat would go on first as the Camaro gets droped off first in Alpharetta. We normally do not like doing night drop offs, but if you wish to have it to you by Monday evening then a pickup on Saturday or Sunday is required, if not it would be Tuesday morning.
