Additional Information: This shipment was listed a month ago, but due to scheduling constraints on the part of both the pickup person and the recipient, shipment was postponed and we opted not to arrange shipping until mid-January when it was again possible for both parties. The game must be kept upright ***at all times*** or risk damaging the internal components. Mover MUST have a truck with a lift-gate. The game is stored on the ground floor. The delivery location is on the second floor and there is no elevator and a fairly narrow hallway. (and again, the game must be kept upright while it goes up the stairs!) Please let me know if there is a shipping insurance option; the market value of the game is about $1500 USD. Thank you! Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Here are a WHOLE BUNCH of questions.. Does the game work? Can it be laid on its back? ( most games cant because it messes up the video component). Is this a curbside delivery, meaning you are bringing it inside your home. Is there a freight elevator if inside delivery is needed? Any steps if there is no elevator? Does the elevator run over a weekend? Where is the item at the pick up?( garage, basement ect...) You listed 1/5-1/8 delivery, would you want it sooner? Thanks (11/27/2007)
Response: Howdy! Sorry to take so long to get back to you, has been chaotic. Here, answers to your questions, in order: 1) yes, the game works 2) no idea if it can be laid on its back. let's assume the answer is no, unless i can find out otherwise. 3) it would need to be carried into my apartment, which is up one flight of stairs (on the second floor). it's an old building and there is no elevator. 4) let me find out where the game is located at the pickup location. ) as it turns out, i will be moving sooner than i expected and could get the item delivered on Dec 12, 13, or 14. Would any of those dates work? Let me know if you are still interested. here's more info: http://coinop.org/g.aspx/100180/Star_Wars.html Cheers, S (11/30/2007)
Response: Glad you got back to me. SInce your delivery window isn't for 2 weeks, I will have a better idea of scheduling availability next week, then I'll put in a bid. Regardless of who you choose, make sure that the truck has a lift-gate. I asked my electronic "geek" friends about laying the unit over and they said ABSOLUTELY NOT!. Thanks again. Bruce-C&S Freight Inc. (11/30/2007)
Response: hi bruce, i will be relisting the shipment with a narrower pickup/ delivery date (december 12, 13, or before 1pm on the 14), which will mean that I have to cancel your bid. please do bid on the new listing if you are interested and able to ship! cheers, sidra (12/7/2007)
Response: Thanks for the heads up. I will look for the new listing. I wont get an idea for the week until Monday, so that does make the window a bit small to make arrangements. Either way, good luck. (12/8/2007)
Question: Hello, I have transported many, many, arcade games..... I also have a collection of x-y games.... Tempest and Major Havoc..... I have owned a Star Wars sitdown and upright so I know how to handle these. Please consider my bid and feel free to ask any questions.... Thank you Joe Cosmic (12/8/2007)
Question: Sidra, this is Bruce from C&S Freight. We got the weekly schedule in and though we could do the delivery LATE one night, it would require us to drive the machine around for the whole trip. We are scheduled to go to Delaware and Valley Forge, Pa, but wouldnt be able to get back to you until nightime. I think that would be too much time in the truck for the machine. I think you should choose someone who will just pick it up and go directly to you. We do have Saturday available ( 12/15), but the cost would be above your target. Thanks for the opportunity though, Good Luck. ( I like the re-listed info Nice Job ) (12/11/2007)
Question: What happened? i thought this was taken care of? Is this a glitch or a re-listing/ Thanks. Bruce- C&S Freight (1/13/2008)
Response: This shipment was listed a month ago, but due to scheduling constraints on the part of both the pickup person and the recipient, shipment was postponed and we opted not to arrange shipping until mid-January when it was again possible for both parties. I removed listing back in December when it became evident that it was not going to time out any more, and cancelled all bids. I just re-instated it with a new timeframe that works for both me and the pickup person. Hope that clarifies! (1/13/2008)
Response: Yes it does, thanks (1/13/2008)
Response: Hi there, Do you think you'll be able to move the game, or does it not fit into your schedule? I'd be interested in working with you since we talked before... Cheers, S (1/14/2008)
