Question: I can pick up on Wed. and deliver in 2 days. The price would be $1200. If that is agreeable, let me know and I will place a bid. Thank you. JStax. (9/17/2009)

Response: No, Thanks, I believe I can get this done for $750 by Lorraine transport; not sure why I should pay $1200?? (9/17/2009)

Response: Thank-you for your reply. If you can get it done cheap thats fine. I was going to be in the area and thought it would be better to bring a horse back south than to drive home empty. Good luck with your transport. JStax. (9/17/2009)

Response: I was told that Lorraine would be $750 but have not talked with them personally; I did talk with Creech and they said $800 but were not going that way any time soon; I am waiting to hear back from Lorraine to confirm their price. I don't know hat your price was now (9/17/2009)

Response: I cannot compete with the pricing of tractor trailer transporters such as Lorainne. I provide transport for horses that is as stress free as possible by giving several rest breaks and not leaving horses on the trailer for several days while I work my way down the country picking up and dropping off others. (9/17/2009)

Response: Fine (10/7/2009)

Question: I will be in Philly on sat and could come up and deliver to on Monday.I live in Atlanta and we would break there for a good rest then on to Florida. Box Stall, fresh shavings and hay. thanks...Dave Rice Ellenwood Equine Transport/ Ellenwood Equestrian Center.....700.00 (9/17/2009)

Response: I don't understand what you are saying; It is quite a trip from Philly to Suffolk Downs in Boston for one horse? I am from Atlanta. please provide info about your trailer, etc. I can't make a decision until tomorrow afternoon; (9/17/2009)

Response: Sorry....I am bringing one horse from Covington and another from Nashville to Baltimore and Philly respectively. I am working a couple of Penn. to Mass. jobs and fully expect to get one. I am then heading south with one available box stall. I am picking up a pony in virginia and delivering it to Madison and then I will stop at the house in Ellenwood (near stockbridge) where I will "overnight". I have a lesson business and a very busy farm. I will then head into florida. My truck is 2005 duelly silverado and a 2005 silverstar all aluminum 4 horse slant.. I remove 2 dividers to make 2 comfortable box stalls. I never haul more than 2 for such a long trip. Thanks. Dave....Ellenwood Equestrian Center/ Ellenwood Equine Transport (9/17/2009)

Response: Let me know if you are going to have any more trips coming up from Boston/Ocala in the next 4 or 5 days. I may have found someone else. My experience with Tendertouch Transport that I booked with on U-Ship turned out to be a disaster. I don't see how they allow people like that to operate on this service. (10/7/2009)

Response: Give me a day or two to have a looksee at available loads coming north. I am taking two on friday to a lameness specialist at Coosa Valley Equine, (Dr. Murray) and I have a show with 12 to transport next friday and saturday so I have a few days this coming week and after the 17th Dave Rice Ellenwood Equestrian Center (10/7/2009)

Response: Need to get exact time frames on pick up and delivery. The horse is 1 hour south of Suffolk Downs at a farm now. I waited on those idiots from Tendertouch for 15 days with all their excuses. Not a way to do business. So I need to be very clear on expectations now. (10/7/2009)

Response: The plan is this....... I am picking up a horse in NC at at 8am on saturday. I will drive (allowing for much rest) to NY where I will layover for 5 hours. I will leave NY and arrive in Boston no later than 9pm sunday. We will arrive in Fl. on Monday. (10/7/2009)

Response: Can you call me at [phone number removed] before I book; How many horses will be on the trailer? All the other horses are booked? problems with other provider to line up horses after the fact (I think) I would like to not have her head tied which is why I didn't want to book with a big semi horse van; and half committed to Black Oak but he would be the middle of next week and trailer is head to head and probably cross tied. This horse has had a lung problem; doesn't need any hay in front of her; maybe on the floor. Are you driving straight through by yourself from Boston to Florida? Before you said layover in Atlanta? What is the deposit? (10/7/2009)

Response: Not crosstied but in a box stall with fresh timothy / alfalfa (10/7/2009)

Response: Horse is at trainers farm 1 hr South of Boston; Bobby Raymond [phone number removed]; will need to communicate with him. Address [address removed], No Smithfield, RI 02896. jockey shirt and bucket supplement should also go with horse. (10/7/2009)

Question: I can do it for the 750 number beacuse I am empty from NY to Boston and have little chance of picking anything up. I will be looking for a travel mate for your horse but only along the general routew to Fla. I WILL NOT travel out of the way and keep your horse on the trailer longer than necessary....I need to know ASAP for this to get done as I have 2 ready to go to middle NY and are waiting for you.....Thanks Dave Rice (10/7/2009)

Response: I have someone that can do it next week; I was just looking for something asap because of my frustration. How long will the trip take. If you live in Atlanta, then a stop overnight would be fine. So the question is how soon can you get horse? (10/7/2009)
