Questions for this shipment:
Question:
How do you plan on loading/unloading? (6/14/2007)
Response:
When creating the listing, I marked the pickup did not have a loading dock or lift (forklift). It is a small warehouse at a Business. I also marked it would be delivered at my Residence and would need unloading help. (From your truck to my back yard). (6/14/2007)
Question:
Will there be any assist on loading or unloading? This will impact our bid! Thanks (6/14/2007)
Response:
I just called the destination location: they say they have a 'tractor' to move it...but no loading dock...BUT I don't have one at destination. If we can get it out of the truck, I can hire someone else to move it from the street to the backyard...but unless you can get out of truck onto street, still need that forklift. I can hire someone to be here with a forklift at delivery, but timing may be the issue there... (6/14/2007)
Response:
I am not concerned about the weight. In our business 4 wheel dollies are used on low cargo trailers with ramps on rear. Would place 4 wheel dollies under spa for safe transport. Thanks for the info though. (6/14/2007)
Response:
What kind of assistance would you need? (6/15/2007)
Response:
just a little push power depending on the terrain! thanks (6/15/2007)
Response:
No problem! I can easily get 5-10 guys here... (6/15/2007)
Question:
i should be able to submit or not by am tomorrow. another customer as yet to committ. If they do not i will post formal bid. Thanks (6/15/2007)
Question:
I had to cxl my bid because I'm unsure of my load there, I will rebid as soon as I know and as long as the terrain to the back of the home is flat we should not have a problem. (6/18/2007)
Response:
OK - do you want me to post a picture of the terrain? (6/18/2007)
Response:
I don't think that is necessary, we will have it on a 5X5 pneumatic wheeled dolly, we will do what we can, as long as its safe. (6/18/2007)
Response:
Any update? I hope this is still an option for you... (6/22/2007)
Response:
It still may be a possibility at the end of next week. (6/24/2007)
Question:
(6/26/2007)
Question:
hello, ill be traveling from orlando this thursday afternoon enroute to greenville sc area, and ill be pulling a empty boat trailer, and can secure your tub on it with straps if its ok with you? and can deliver it this friday... let me know and ill give my bid..... thanks in advance (6/26/2007)
Response:
Is there a way to get it to my backyard?...The Front of the house looks like 2 stories, but the back has 3 since there's a basement: so that's the slope we'd have to get it down. We'd put it on a concrete slab alrady in place. Either way, let me know what the bid is... (6/26/2007)
Response:
if you have someone to load the spa onto the trailer at the fl. location, and i will assist as much as possible in unloading at your residence, im not sure about being able to drive to the rear of your residence until i can see the slope, etc.,not wanting to have any damage to your spa, or residence property. bid of $350.00 plus uship fee...you said the spa is still in the shipping crate? (6/26/2007)
Question:
This is your 1st bidder, I will know tomorrow if I will have the room for the tub, so I will rebid when I am sure, but the bid will be higher due to futher distance from my destination. I would need a quick response because I would pick it up thursday or friday very early. please respond. (6/27/2007)
Response:
How much is the new bid? You'll still have your lift right? (6/27/2007)
Response:
I AM UNABLE TO FIT YOUR TUB ON THIS LOAD MAYBE NEXT TIME IF YOU DONT HAVE IT DELIVERED (6/28/2007)
Response:
:O( Thanks for letting me know. You'll know it hasn't been delivered if it's still on uShip. Safe driving. (6/28/2007)
Question:
can we get a car trailer in back yard i have a fold up trailer it would be easy to get the hot tub off of (6/28/2007)
Response:
?? From the front of the house, it looks like 2 stories. From the back, it looks like 3 stories...so you'd have to drive down a slope. It may be a little tricky, but I think it can be done. How big is the vehicle? (We'd have to drive some in my neighbor's yard). Once you get back there, how are you going to take it off? It's big, bulky and HEAVY!! :O) (6/28/2007)
Response:
i have some dolles i can use and how far is the pad from the house (6/28/2007)
Response:
i have some dolles i can use and how far is the pad from the house (6/28/2007)
Response:
The concrete slab is right outside the sliding glass door. I'll respond again in 20minutes: I'll post a picture on the web so you can see the terrain and location, etc. (6/28/2007)
Response:
if i bid can i pick it up on fri and deliver it sat afternoon (6/28/2007)
Response:
Sure. It's currently at a Camp Ground that is open Friday and Sat. If your bid wins, I can give you a number to call to let me know when you expect to arrive Sat (and can provide directions). To see a pic of the yard, go to www.myMISCstuff.com - then click to see "M5" (6/28/2007)
