Question: how much are you willing to pay to get the job done if picked up between tonight and tomorrow morning?
Greg (11/1/2009)

Response: Greg, Item can only be picked up during the business day. It is at an auction house. Further, it must be delivered sometime before Wednesday the 5th or Tuesday, November 10th or thereafter. We are unavailable between those dates. I've added that info to the listing, as well as a target price of under $300. (11/1/2009)

Question: We can offer enclosed transport with a pick up on Friday November 6. Delivery can be made on November 10. Box truck with lift gate will be used. Please let us know if we can pick up on Friday November 6, and we will place a formal bid for $285. Thanks! (11/3/2009)

Response: Can you promise to blanket it with VERY CLEAN blankets, putting cushions in plastic bags, perhaps? And no stacking? I'm happy to do it if you will. Also need to know precise nature of your insurance. Thanks much. (11/4/2009)

Response: We were bidding on a box truck out of that area, and although we are the highest bidder, the auction ended with the reserve not met. We are trying to negotiate with the seller. If we are able to work out a deal, then we will book the jobs out of that area to join the others already on our route. We can transport, and pack in the manner you wish. We are always very careful with these types of items. (11/5/2009)

Response: Sorry, H & B. There's no info that you've transported items like mine, nor any feedback, at all, on you. Can't take the risk. (11/5/2009)

Response: We understand. This is our second account on Uship. Old account ACaringTransporter. 100% rating. We changed MC, and DOT numbers due to moving from CA to OR. Uship has verified our DOT number, and we are now transporting goods for hire. We understand your apprehension on using someone with a low rating. We wish you the very best on your shipment. Thanks! Question: Hello Shipper, I can pick up between the 12th and 16th of November with delivery in 2-7 days for $350. This is door to door service including loading/unloading, blanket/saran wrapping, along with full insurance coverage. Let me know if this works for you so I can place my formal bid and reserve the space in my trailer. Thank you, Michael Frear. (11/3/2009)

Response: A few questions, Michael: Firstly, can you do it closer to target price of $285? Secondly, kindly describe how your insurance works. Finally, do you have a more firm schedule for p/u and delivery at this time? Thanks for answers, Mary (11/9/2009)

Response: My insurance covers my full load in the event of damage made by me, or accidental damage, your item will be fully covered. It looks like I will be in your area between the 14th and 16th, but do not want to set an exact date as of yet. Once a bid is accepted Uship releases our contact information to one another, so I can keep in touch with you and work out a time and day that works for the both of us. I can come down to $315 if you'd like to book with me immediately. Let me know if you have any further questions, and if you'd like me to place my formal bid. Thank you, Michael Frear. (11/9/2009)

Response: OK Michael. Bid away. This is on the condition that the sofa will be picked up, upholstery protected; nothing stacked on it; and that it won't be passed on to another truck or stored anywhere between p/u and delivery. Let me know, OK? And I need to arrange p/u with the auction house. What's your p/u date? (11/9/2009)

Response: I am the only person who will be handling your sofa. It will enter my truck at the pick up location and be removed at the drop off location in the same condition it was picked up as. I personally blanket/saran wrap it to prevent any damage. I will be there to pick up between the 12th and 16th of this month. I will place my bid below for your acceptance. Once the bid is accepted, UShip will release our contact information and I will be in contact with you and the pick up location as to the exact date and time of arrival. Thank you, and please be sure to ask any further questions before accepting my bid. Michael Frear. (11/9/2009)

Response: Here's the question: you think you'll be in my area between the 14th and 16th. I'm in Sarasota. You may p/u in New Jersey between the 12th and the 16th. The dates don't work out quite right. Can you project? (11/9/2009)

Response: I plan to pick up between the 12th and 16th, narrowing it down to around the 14th. I will be down to you to deliver in 2-5 days from pick up. Thank you, Michael Frear. (11/9/2009)

Response: A couple of problems: obviously, it's too late for p/u today. Secondly, this requires two men. I can't provide assist on this end, and can't be certain auction house has help, either. Finally, I don't want two weeks to elapse before delivery. Sorry. (11/9/2009)
