Questions for this shipment:

Question: We would triple wrap and bag sofa for delivery Bid $599 Fox Lane Furniture Collierville Tennessee. What end are you on and what is your time frame. Edwin (2/13/2008)
Response: Edwin- We are in Carlsbad, CA 92009 - the sofa was manufactured in Memphis. I beleive it will be ready this week. How long would it take for delivery? Do you provide insurance? And can you explain triple wrap and bagging to me? Thanks. (2/13/2008)
Response: This new sofa may come wrapped. Normaly we wrap in furniture blankets ,cover with plastic strech wrap and then cover with a super duty four ply plastic/foam /bubble wrap sofa bag. Deliver time about two weeks, {winter snow storms etc}. Memphis is having a ice storm right now. Pick up can be first day its ready to go.We would hold in our warehouse till ready to go West.Extra insurance $19.00 per $1000. Edwin Fox Lane Furniture Collierville Tennessee (2/13/2008)
Response: Let me reach out to the manufacturer to see when it will be ready. When you say you hold it in your warehouse, do you mean you wait until you have a full truck and then send it across country? Thanks. (2/13/2008)
Response: It would cost $4000 to drive a truck 2000 miles to CALIFORNIA your shipment would be pooled with other items going in the same direction. (2/13/2008)
Response: ok, waiting to hear back from manufacturer on a date - will follow-up with them tomorrow. (2/13/2008)
Question: In regards to preparing the piece for shipment, we would blanket and shrink wrap the piece prior to loading. "TouringLogistics" (2/19/2008)
Response: This is a brand new sofa. Can it be covered prior to placing the blankets on it? And will anything be loaded on top of it during storage and transit? It is ready to ship today. How soon could you pick up and can you give us an expected delivery window please? Thank you. (2/20/2008)
Response: It can be picked up no later than monday. It will be blanketed and shrink wrapped. (2/20/2008)
Response: Just want to make sure I understand... You have to pick up by Monday or the earliest you can pick it up is Monday? And what I was asking is can the sofa be covered prior to placing the balnkets on it - with shrink wrap - I am guessing that the blankets are moving blankets and we wanted to make sure the sofa doesn't get dirty. And will anything be packed on top of the sofa during transit or storage? thanks (2/20/2008)
Response: What we normally do is blanket, then shrink wrap the piece for shipment. No, there will be nothing stacked onto of the piece. We specialize in the transport of Antiquities and FIne Art. "Stacking" is not in our vocabulary. In regards to the date, I would say that we would be able to pick-up by monday if that works for you. (2/20/2008)
Response: bear with me - new to this UShip...so you aren't worried about the blankets on the fabric? It is light tan...I just remember moving myself in the military the past few years and the blankets we rented form UHaul weren't very clean. Monday would work. What would the delivery window be? (2/20/2008)
Response: I usually leave it up to our drivers to call the shots on preparing the pieces for shipment. I will instruct the driver to shrink first, then blanket and then re-shrink. (2/20/2008)
Response: We appreciate that, thanks. And you think 2 weeks for delivery? (2/20/2008)
Response: We always like to say 2 weeks incase of additional pick-ups/drop-offs. (2/20/2008)
Response: Gary I see that you are logged in now. Been trying to reach you. Need you to confirm that you received our Westen Union payment on Friday. Spoke to Pyramid Manufacturing and they said that you haven't contacted them - was under the impression that you'd be picking the sofa up Monday. Left a voice mail for you but now your cell phone mailbox is full. Also sent a couple of emails...would appreciate an update. (2/27/2008)
Question: We can shrink wrap then first before blanketing if you prefer. (2/20/2008)
Response: What about wrapping the sofa before and after? Then the surface is protected and the blankets stay in place... (2/20/2008)
Response: So funny.... I just responded to your precious email with the same suggestion. "TouringLogistics" (2/20/2008)
