Additional Information: This is a BACKHAUL request... I know my bid is low and that is why because this rig is worth $2K so a $2K or $3K bid is crazy. I'm looking for someone going from Fairbanks to just about anywhere on the West coast. I'll collect it from where your other load is dropped off. Again, this is to winch this on as an add-on. I know other snow cat owners that have moved rigs like this the same distance for $750-1,000 so please do not email me with rude comments as I've received some already. I'm trying to make this as convenient as possible... I will have it hauled to your location where your other goods are being picked up and you drop it your end city. I will arrange collection at that point. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: IM OUT OF TOK, AND WILL BE UP THERE IN A FEW WEEKS I HAUL CARS DOWN FOR NO LESS THAN 1500. 750. WILL HARDLY PAY FOR BONDS AND PERMITS LET ALONE FUEL,, WHEN YOU NEED A REALISTIC BID LET ME KNOW THANKS (2/20/2008)
Response: OK. Thank you for your response. I have an offer for $1,250 at present from someone else out of TOK. A friend had one from Anchorage to Seattle for $1K so I'm basing it off of that. Thanks (2/26/2008)
Question: IM HOPE THAT YOU JUST FORGOT TO PUT THE 2 IN FRONT OF THE 750 (2/23/2008)
Response: Not at all. I currently have an offer that someone will take it from Fairbanks to Seattle for $1,250. A friend had one moved for $1,000 even. These are backhual prices as I don't care when it's moved and don't care where to as long as it's at least Washington state. Thanks. (2/26/2008)
Question: I haul boats up to Fbx a couple times a month. I recently transported a M113 Grizzly to Seattle for $1,500. Pretty much the same as your rig. I would go for $1,250 but I won't go any further than Seattle. The Phantom (2/25/2008)
Response: OK. That seems reasonable. Let me coordinate a few bits of kit on my end and get some better timing for you and then we can pull this off pretty easily. I'll also coordinate a shipper to take it from Seattle to my destination in Idaho so I'll start that process to get some estimates...that will be pretty easy as it's not a backhaul, etc... but is pretty economical for a short haul. What's your contact info? Thanks! I think I can get you a reasonable amount of business too from my friends in a snowcat club...quite a few up there that folks are interested in but hauling is a hastle so if this works well they (and I) could be regular transport buyers from you as you have availability. -Albert (2/26/2008)
Response: My boats originate in Lewiston, ID. Does that get it any closer? I have no problem taking it there. Any further south would have to be more $$. The Phantom (2/26/2008)
Response: Were you able to come up with an add-on amount for Lewiston to Parma? Thanks (2/28/2008)
Response: If I can net Fifteen Hundred I'll haul it all the way. The Phantom (2/28/2008)
Response: Yes, I'm good with this. Let's do it. Please enter a formal bid so I can accept. (3/4/2008)
Question: I am not sure if you saw my answer regarding the amount all the way to Parma. Look at my previous entry. Thanks, The Phantom (2/29/2008)
Response: Yup. $1,500 works for me but when you say net do you mean there are other expenses I'd pay on top of this? How do we take it from here... I want to send you a couple of photos. Also, I was thinking it would be nice to have it wrapped in that white boat wrap. You know of any places that may do that in Fairbanks given you are involved with boat transport? Thanks (3/1/2008)
