Response: We were looking more in the $750 range. We didn't have a good experience with our last mover who left half the stuff in MD without letting us know until delivery. It really is a small load, we had a bid for $750, but the guy didn't have any USDOT or MC numbers, so we turned down his bid. (7/23/2008)
Response: We have a min for a cross country move of $1000 ,I already quoted you less than a minimum. The value of having a legal, licensed carrier is far superior to a couple of guys with pickups. If you can't afford $, then hire who ever you are comfortable and know the risk could be loosing your goods at a DOT inspection station. Response: Sorry- there is one last thing to work out. To access the storage unit, we need to have a key sent to you via FedEx, which you can then give to us when you arrive in CA. Is that something that you'd be willing to agree to? (7/25/2008)
Response: fedex does not deliver on saturdays or sundays ... and today is friday, if you sent it today, i am not sure we can get is before sunday morning. (7/25/2008)
