Question: How much do you have to ship? Please fill out the inventory so that we may place bids for the work. (11/7/2009)

Response: In answer to your question, please see the online inventory, now listed. I've answered as accurately as possible. [phone number removed NOTE: Once a bid is accepted, both parties’ contact info will be exchanged. – uShip] Thanks! --Jim Anderson. (11/7/2009)

Response: Please make sure that you do not provide any contact information through this process so as not to be in conflict with the terms & conditions. This could cause one's account to be suspended. I will look over the items and place a bid if it is something that I can handle. Thank you, Dustin. (11/7/2009)

Response: Thanks for your heads up. This is my first experience with uShip and what seemed innocent turned out to be forbidden (i.e., contact info). Thanks! (11/8/2009)

Question: Hello Shipper. I am sorry, but the 125 boxes might be a bit much for me to handle. I use a 6x12 enclosed cargo trailer for moving along with a 6.5' Dodge Ram. I am a very good packer, but I think the 125 boxes might not all fit. Unless you think your items will fit, I will not place a bid. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you. (11/7/2009)

Response: Sorry, a 6x12 truck does sound a bit too small. The boxes we are calling "medium" are labelled as "small" and are 16x12x12. Most of them contain books. (11/7/2009)

Question: what is your target price? (11/7/2009)

Response: We do not have an exact target price. We will choose the mover who seems trustworthy and experienced, and who offers a good, reasonable price, plus commitment to pick up and deliver on the dates promised. (11/7/2009)

Response: we could pick up on the 17th(am)and deliver on the same day.we will blanket wrap all items that need it and your items would be insured.we would charge $1800.00,let me know if this would work and i will make a bid.thanks (11/7/2009)

Response: Sorry, Steve, that's way out of our price range. (11/7/2009)

Response: i understand,i bid a dedicated run,if you can give me your price range or target price then i can see if i can get a back haul and may be able to get to your target price.thanks steve (11/7/2009)

Response: Steve, after thinking about it, I'd say we're hoping to get closer to $1,000. [This site's quoted range suggested about $500, but I know that is too low.] We could be a a little flexible and move a few days later (say up to 19-20 November), if that helps you on the return. [This is the first time I've used uShip, so I'm not sure if I need to revise the delivery date now, but I can do that.] (11/7/2009)

Response: if you could go anytime the week of the 16th i would bid $1100.00 if you would go on and accept the bid now that would give me time to pick up a back haul.take a look at my feedback and profile and look at my truck and trailer to make sure we can get in your drive ways to load and unload.thanks (11/7/2009)

Response: Steve, that sounds close. I will not know until Monday (9 November) about our exact timing, so cannot make any commitment right now. I've seen your reviews, which look excellent. There should be no problem on either end with your truck, as well. At pickup, the road runs right in front of the house, about 12' from curb to front door. At delivery, there is a townhouse with a deveopment neighborhood road in front and a parking cul-de-sac nearby. Should be no problem. Just to repeat: I cannot make a final decision until Monday. Thanks! (11/7/2009)

Response: thanks for your response.i have been looking at other loads from sc back towards ky and did not see any at this time.i would need to get a back haul,i ran the miles on mapquest and it came close to 900 miles for me round trip and that about $300 in fuel alone.let me know monday and i will keep looking.thanks steve (11/7/2009)

Response: You must be far up in Kentucky, then. When I run a Mapquest, it says 315 miles round trip from pickup to delivery sites, door to door. That's hard for both of us, if you are maybe 300 more miles away. (11/8/2009)

Question: We can do 14th or 15th. Pickup and delivery same day if you like. We are fully licensed and insured up to $100,000 full replacement. There will be 3 movers. We have all the dollies, blankets, strapes to do any move. I have over 8 years in the business. Price would be 875 total fee. No hidden fees. If interested let me know i will make formal bid. THANKYOU daddyscott AMISH FURNITURE TRANSPORTATION (11/8/2009)

Response: Scott, yes, we are seriously interested. I checked your listing and see that you are new to uShip (me, too) but have good feedback. Our timing has changed slightly. On the website listing, I just extended the pickup/delivery dates by a few more days--until Friday, 20 November. Our absolute best days are now Wednesday (November 18) or Thursday (November 19). Would either of those work for you? (11/8/2009)

Response: Thank you for your quick responce. Yes the 18th or 19th will work for us. If i bid and it is accepted i can give you website from furniture store i have been associated with since 2000. It has information on it about me and the quality of my services. You wont be dissapointed with website. THANKYOU daddyscott AMISH FURNITURE TRANSPORTATION (11/8/2009)
