Response: Hi Capt. G. Thanks for the email. I still need the boat moved - I have to clear the calendar to get down to it and carry out the work required to make it seaworthy, i.e. tidy up the electrics and service the engine after too many years out of the water. Not sure when this will happen except I want to get it moved this season. Looked at Uship as an alternative to moving it myself due to pressures of time. Response: hi.. I am assuming it has a Perkins diesel. Nice engines. If it hasn't been run in a while that is something serious to consider. I've had my moments with them. Response: You are correct, it is a Perkins, and I am anticipating having to flush the tank, the lines, the filters and the injectors.... hence some delay before the boat is ready to move! (7/8/2008)
