Question: Hello shipper would this be available for pick up today? Thank you! Dennis (6/8/2008)

Response: Dennis The problem is that the sidecar is in Santa Fe. I have not officially made a deal with another guy and as a result am still open but you'd have to go to Santa Fe to get it today. I'd pay the difference in fuel and time up to $100 but that is what is going on. Tough call for you if you're on the road now but I don't mess around with people and I am good to my word. Ian (6/8/2008)

Response: If you can finalize your purchase, I can lay over and pick up in the morning. I'll need to know within 8 hours so I can head in that direction. (6/8/2008)

Response: I just tried to get my son but he is not answering, not home , not in sync. I don't want to promise anything especially since he is the way he is. If I could get in touch with him I'd be happy to do the deal. I know time waits for no one so I just have my fingers crossed. Ian (6/8/2008)

Response: Well, I have some good news for you. I'm running late. I still have about 100 miles to go before I have to make the choice between going up to Santa Fe, or stay on I-40. If you can contact him by 11am est, I can still get it for you. Dennis (6/9/2008)

Response: Dennis, One key broken off trying to open a can of paint. Can't get window open w/o key can't open door unless window is open blah blah blah. Frustrating? 100% ! Could have worked out well for both of us. Sorry. Ian (6/9/2008)

Response: Hello Ian i am on my back out to California and will be coming through your area on my way home! It will not be until next week around Tuesday that i should be in your area did you and your son work out the key problem please let me know and i will bid again. Thank you Dennis (6/20/2008)

Response: Dennis, I am negotiating with another guy but I'd be happy to give the business to you. Ship from Santa Fe to Philadelphia. Time of arrival is not important. Sidecar on box on pallet. No loading dock BUT all can be loaded by hand in less than fifteen minutes. Box is size of pallet and 10 inches thick. Sidecar sits on box which rests on pallet. All items will be screwed down so there is no shifting. Box weighs 55# and sidecar is 154#. Plan B would be to separate the box from the pallet and ship only the sidecar on the pallet. I'd expect to pay a bit more but that is your call. Total dimension more or less box on pallet and sidecar 48x48x55 (inches) Box alone 48x48x10. Sidecar alone on pallet 48x48x45 There is a loading dock and lift and bodies at this end. Let me know as I don't want to keep the other guy on the hook as he has been decent and his bid is in line. Thanks, Ian (6/20/2008)

Response: Ian, I'd love to pick it up for you since it's on my way back east and I'm delivering a bike in the Philly area. The problem for me is the pallet. It would take up most of the bed on my truck. I already have a bike in the bed and could fit the sidecar, but not on the pallet. Let me know if it can be removed from the pallet and secured by the tie-downs in the bed of my truck. Dennis (6/22/2008)

Response: Dennis. Absolutely. I supposed the pallet was for your benefit. How about the box? Dimensions 40x50x10 and 55#. Ian (6/22/2008)

Response: The box isn't a problem, that should fit easily. (6/22/2008)

Response: Dennis .... bottom line sidecar and box Santa Fe to Philadelphia, your schedule. How much? When? Ian (6/22/2008)

Response: Ian, pickup tomorrow, delivery 3 to 5 days, $400.00. Dennis (6/22/2008)

Response: Dennis, I have to hear from you soon or we cannot make a deal as my son has a job and will have to make an arrangement to take off. It isn't a big deal as long as he has an idea of your ETA. i have to know before 11AM . It is now 8:20. Ian (6/23/2008)

Response: Ian, I am 12hrs from Santa Fe right now. What other info do you need? (6/23/2008)

Response: Dennis, Nothing else. He will be off work at eight and is a five minute walk from home. Soon as I make the arrangements you can call him. I will make the deal with uShip now. Ian (6/23/2008)

Question: Ian, Please also be sure that price is only going to work is if the total height is going to be under 44" high on the pallet and packaged. Thanks again - Ian (great name by the way, lol) (6/19/2008)

Response: So will my great name get me a break on total height? 49" is about as close as I can get doing it the preferred way (my preferred way). If it is nix on that one then another pallet is in order and that of course means more dinero or it means "Plan B" namely leaving the spare parts&shipping them UPS. I'll give you all the dimensions and you tell me the best or only way I can do everything with you guys. Sidecar 60Lx 30Wx 40H, weight 154#. Spare parts box 50Hx38Wx10 deep, weight 55# Pallet height 5"? Putting the sidecar wheel in the sidecar gains 6" Any way that adds up to 49". Still sol. Your suggestion about a friendly neighbor worked since the local hamburger joint will let the truck load there. If my son can get his brute cousin to help put the pallet (s) in the truck can we avoid the lift gate and then maybe ship the two pallets for close to the estimate using the lift gate? This end is fine since we have a loading dock and lots of brutes. Any way your call. Ian (6/19/2008)

Response: The box you can ship as it is at 55 lbs. This will only add about another $30.00 or so to the price. Simply ass the spare to the box. (6/19/2008)

Response: Let me know how much and when. One pallet, one crate. Both can be loaded (by us) into the truck without a lift gate (your call), Santa Fe to Philadelphia. I do not have a carved in stone schedule but my son in Santa Fe needs to have a definite date and a ballpark time. Is "Simply ass the spare to the box"? ..."add". We are very close to a deal, thank goodness. Ian (6/19/2008)

Response: lol, sorry about that I did mean "add". If the weight of the box is 55lbs. total then your cost will be $350.00. We can pickup any afternoon from a business, as soon as tomorrow, you let me know. You can accept the bid I placed and we will simply add the difference. (6/19/2008)

Response: My son said that next Thursday or Friday would work out right for him as he is starting a new job on the 11 to 7 shift. So before I sign on the dotted line........ next Thursday or Friday afternoon. Santa Fe. Commercial parking lot, truck with lift gate. One crate, one pallet. Total weight 220#. Commercial dock at this end with lift in place and lots of help. Give me the final price and I will OK the deal tonite. Ian (6/19/2008)

Response: $425.00. Thanks, Ian (6/20/2008)
