Junk Listing Information
  • Shipping Load of parts, tools and other items
  • Junk Details: I have five huge and very heavy crates of antique auto parts, many more cardboard boxes of parts, some uncrated engine blocks (1 straight-6; 2 straight-8s and a V8), 2 transmissions, seats & doors, along with disassembled steel shelving and the wood shelves that go with them, two roll-away tool boxes, a floor jack, cherry-picker (disassembled) and other similar items to ship. A Pallet dolly is available on both ends of the trip as it will be moved too. A lift will be needed.
  • Dimensions(s):Varies much due to the nature of the parts.
Additional Information: I would like to coordinate the arrival of the shipment with six cars that are listed separately, which will be in the next couple weeks. A large truck won't fit where the parts are currently so they may need to be picked up in a smaller vehicle first. The photo shows the access route. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi Was wondering how much weight appr. and would it fit in a 24' enclosed trailer? I live just south of Bend Thanks Roger (10/6/2008)
Response: Hi Roger, I would guess that everything weighs close to 10k lbs but that's just a guess and it might be more, or it might be less. One crate alone has a straight-8 engine and two or three cast iron automatic transmissions along with other heavy parts. A lift-gate would definitely be needed but I am not sure how large a trailer it would require as I took everything over there in many smaller loads over a period of time. Each crate is about 30" X 40" X 60" long and there are five of them so I doubt the trailer would be big enough. Don (10/6/2008)
