  • We are very concerned about making sure Harry does not get quarantined in the UK upon landing. He has been rabies and will be de-wormed right before travel and have a USDA endorsed travel certificate issued 72 hours before he leaves if required. Please only bid if you have taken dogs to the UK before....and know exactly what is required. If you are NOT traveling with him - please do NOT bid.
  • Medium
Additional Information: Looking for those who have taken dogs routinely to the UK and know the process from experience with the UK.

Thanks.

Response: Sorry I not see your question before... Yes we have delivered many pets in UK. Look in my uship freedback, you can see the opinion of the owner delivered in UK.2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: Whom is responsible for getting the USDA stamp on the travel certificate? Will you do this? 2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: We not need the usada certificate for entry in europe or in Uk.... We need the dog microchiped, with all vacines uptated also ravies. The rest my vet we arrange for entry to UK. Best regards.2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: How is that possible that you do not need the USDA stamp? I have been told by PBS (the broker for United Airlines) that the USDA stamp is required. Will you fly with the pet? Or simply ship the pet? We will pick up at Airport in London. 2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: We fly with the pet toEurope and entry in to UK, with car by ferry. For entry to Europe not need the USADA certificade. We transport more than 45 pets every month and not need. Best regards.2/23/2014Report a Violation

Response: Hi Rob, I can get Harry to London Heathrow before your 2/28 date. I would pick him up at your home and deliver him to airport for a direct flight into Heathrow, including the customs clearance fee the airline requires. You would be responsible for the final vet visit, any duty tax, if applicable and pick up of Harry in London Heathrow. My bid would be $2650. Let me know if you wish me to place my bid. thanks 2/14/2014Report a Violation

Hi the UK do not allow any animal to travel in cabin . they have to travel as cargo with an approved airline on and approved route . Not in Violation
Response: Hi have you taken a dog to the UK before?2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi I do road transport in the UK and Europe with the correct licences ,and arrange international flights with an approved flight agent but we can not arrange flights from the USA these have to be arranged locally through an IPATA flight agent as these are the only ones the airlines will now allow to book animals flights, Most will fly them into London Heathrow as cargo and will make sure that all the paper work is correct for travel and include the UK custom charges which can be around $600 per pet . I arrarange a lot of collections from Animal Health for pets travelling unaccompanied from the States and other country's and road transport them to their new UK homes . Paul 2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ok ...well our issue is on the US side and does the travel certificate in fact need this USDA stamp ...I can arrange shipment via United/PBS if I want - but PBS has brought up this USDA stamp issue which has thrown us for a loop.2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi sorry for the late reply I have been on the road over to Belfast . [content removed – direction offsite] On the UK side you will need to give up to 5hrs from landing before the dog will be released by Animal Health and make sure your quotes include UK custom charges which are around $600 per pet , Paul2/23/2014In Violation
Response: Ok...I will research IPATA Agents. Thanks.2/23/2014Not in Violation

Hi Robert, I'm sure you and I are both aware that Harry can only fly into London in air cargo. Defra rules strictly enforce this. Please keep in mind that included in my offer is the customs clearing agent charge of about $600. I will place my bid and if you accept we can work out all the details of getting Harry to London heathrow. Report a Violation
Response: Hi Flyz....have you taken a dog to the UK before? United/IAG is ready to ship him via Detroit to Chicago to London...but out of no where the customs clearly broker PBS says the travel certificate needs to be USDA stampled....im thikning...are they serious? and how...if the deowrming has to occure itself only 100 hours before he leaves.2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes I have experience sending dogs and know all about the USDA stamping. There is a process and all this can be done and the deworming all in the time frame for shipping him. Do you want me to re-bid for complete services. 2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: Who will be responsible for getting the USDA stamping done? Us, our vet...or youself? Our local vet here can do the de-worming and issuing of travel certificate....Harry is good to go on the rabies and has been micro-chipped. ........but I am not sure and do not believe the VET is USDA certified nor themselves wholly competent with the process USDA part of this. 2/22/2014Report a Violation
Response: I will get USDA stamp. Rabies must be less then 1 year2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: Harry is too big to be allowed in the cabin by most airlines. ...is that ok for your service? We have been planning to ship him in the cargo hold via United/PBS or BritishAir/IAG.2/23/2014Report a Violation
Response: Hi Robert, I can get Harry to London without quarantine. As long as all his requirements are in order, which will be checked and confirmed before travel he will NOT be held. Although my feedback on uship does not show my experience with UK shipping I have shipped to UK with several of my breeders off uship. If you accept my bid I can give you the references and if you are uncomfortable going forward you can cancel. I can travel with him as well, but the importance is that his documents/requirements are in order. Looking forward to hearing from you and getting Harry to London. Luanne3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: Ok....you do not need to fly him. The only thing im wondering is who will get the travel certificate done.....you or us? We can have him de-wormed before, he is already rabies ready. 3/9/2014Report a Violation

Let me know when you are ready. I am able to get your baby on a direct flight and delivered next day. Lu-anneReport a Violation
Question:
3/8/2014
Hello, Robert I can help you get Harry to London. I have experience shipping dogs there. I have sent many pups for one of my breeders there and if all his documents and Vet requirements are in order, he WILL NOT be quarantined. All of this can be clarified and assured to you before he leaves for London. I will be in contact with the clearing agent prior to his arrival so that you can be assured of his clearance. I can offer to travel with him, but he must travel in cargo and I would be only on the same plane with him not near him. That would increase my initial bid by $1,000. Please let me know if I can be of assistance to you. LuanneReport a Violation
Response: Hi Luanne, It is less important that you fly with him - that would not be required to keep the price better. We have all his shots...the only thing not ready is the USDA endorsed veterinary travel certificate. Would you be getting him this certificate...or us?3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: I would get the USDA certified stamp on the Health Certificate. 3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: great...so u pick him up and that's really it for us....do u want us to get him de-wormed too? or just get you his latest rabies paper?3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: You will have to do the final vet visit3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: The visit for de-worming?3/9/2014Report a Violation
Response: Yes. Harry will need to have a Health Certificate within 10 days and the de-worming within 5 days prior to shipment. I usually suggest my clients get the final health check and de-worming at the 5 day mark. Then I have you federal express documents to me, I get everything USDA stamped and then fly out to you and pick Harry up and send him out all within the 5days. I will liasion with your Vet prior to to make sure that he has all the proper documents to be filled out and with PBS to assure Harry's release. 3/9/2014Report a Violation
