Additional Information:
I have a straight 8 engine I need shipped from Mayer, Arizona (one hour directly north of Phoenix on I17) to Omaha, Nebraska.
The engine is out of the car, paid for and a complete unit carb to pan in restored condition! (Note this is NOT a leaky core, it is in beautiful restored condition)
I am not in a big rush so a backhaul or ? for a good price is appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Low Price Guarantee!!! We will beat any shipping quote offered on this Uship listing by any Federally Licensed and Properly Insured Carrier or Broker by at least 10%! Our company is rated in the Top 1% of all Uship Service Providers. We are fully licensed by the United States Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, the US Department of Transportation, and also fully insured as Federal Law Requires. Collectively we own one of the largest fleets of equipment in the United States. Please view our feedback and the feedback of any provider you are considering to haul your cherished items, we guarantee customer satisfaction 100% of the time. Thank you for considering our bid. Tell us how we may earn your business! (5/3/2007)
Response:
Thanks for the email. If I understand correctly your company is a broker for shipping the items, verses owning the trucks and employing the people. If this is correct, How do I know I am getting someone good to transport the engine for me? In addition, why is payment requested up front? I have always payed when the item arrived not prior, why do it this way? Finally, will the carrier used have an enclosed unit or open unit? Thanks for all your help. While I have had less expensive bids I want a quality delivery above all. If I go with your bid, I assume I hit the "accept bid" button? Thanks, Brian (5/5/2007)
Question:
We are a broker and a trucking company with one of North America's Largest fleets of equipment. We are Federally Licensed, Bonded and Insured. We for many shipments we outsource the shipment to our carrier partners such as Roadway Express, Saia Motor Freight, ect. Your shipment will travel via R and L Carriers at www.rlcarriers.com All of these companies are Nationally known and own Huge fleets of equipment and over 20 years in business. Our company operates very similar to Fedex and UPS for small shipments. All large companies such as ours require prepayment because we issue a prepaid bill of lading that allows the carrier to bill us immediately. If you are an established corporation a billing account could be established for you which would allow for you to be simply billed after delivery. We believe our feedback says it all, our's is the highest number achieved with 100% positive rating, no Uship Provider can say the same! Your shipment will travel via an enclosed unit. (5/7/2007)
Question:
Once the bid is accepted by clicking on the "accept bid" we will be able to forward you our Federal Licensing packet along with Insurance information and a list of references. Furthermore you will be able to verify our integrity by checking our credential with the Federal Motor Safety website. We are also publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. (5/7/2007)
Question:
A Thought, Please check my driver profile, feedback & pictures, that will tell you about me. I am taking a 32 Chevy to Bella Vista AR. leaving Riverside CA on Mon 14th. Then I go to Chadron NE to pick up a car coming to San Diego. What if I stoped in Mayer on the way, put the engine in my pickup bed(if not on a pallet could use some blocks, furniture pads and tiedowns). I could then drop in Elknorn on my way to Chadron. I would charge you 300, service would be door to door & COD. I am licenced and insured. may cost you a bit more but!!!. Just a thought, let me know what you think and if all works out (the Chadron car is not firm a for sure at this time) I'll place a bid. Thanks for the consideration. Jim "fearlessfossil" JAL (5/8/2007)
Question:
By the way, Are you a Hudson guy, I have moved a lot of cars for Bill Albright in Fontana CA. May even have a picture of one of his Hudsons in my profile pictures. Jim "fearlessfossil" JAL (5/8/2007)
