Question: Shipper. I can pickup and deliver Monday 8-11-08. No need to remove the atachments or roll bar. I have a 38ft. low boy gooseneck that can handle it all. Please check my U-ship profile and feedback. Hopefully you want your items transported by a licensed MC/DOT compliant carrier with commercial liability and cargo insurance at no extra cost to you. We encourage you to review our profile ( or any other carrier you are considering) as well as verifying DOT/MC # at http://www.safer.fmcsa.dot.gov/companysnapshot.aspx All carriers must have a MC/DOT # to legally transport for hire.(U-Ship also highly recommends you follow these procedures.) Thanks ! Gatorman (8/9/2008)
Response: Could you give me a price? It's 78 miles from point to point. (8/9/2008)
Response: Price is below.Fully licensed and insured at no extra cost to you. (8/9/2008)
Question: i am flexible and ready to do this i have made a bid and hope to hear from you soon (8/9/2008)
Response: I accepted your bid yesterday but have not heard from you. (8/11/2008)
Response: i have already made a bid .mine is the lowest bid.i may be able to do a little cheaper but not much because i dont get my hole bid amount. (8/9/2008)
Question: Shipper..If this ready to go I could even pickup and deliver tomorrow Sunday 8-10-08. (8/9/2008)
Question: Edoriginal, Have you checked out DOT#'s /MC#'s or cargo ins. on any of the carriers you are getting bids from? Look at your u-ship user agreement on selecting a carrier. Theres a lot of great info there to protect yourself and your property. (8/10/2008)
Response: Have my own insurance. Got 7 or 8 quotes for less than $250. (8/11/2008)
Question: Do you want to get this done tomorrow? (8/10/2008)
Question: Shipper,I lowered my bid due to another pickup in the area. let me know today and I can move this Monday 8-11-08. (8/10/2008)
Question: May be coming right through your way in the next few days with our GMC 4500 Western Hauler with 25' + 5' Beavertail Ramped Flatbed trailer with 4' tall plastic front and sideboards. Would be empty and going your way anyhow so perhaps could save you some money on your transport. We have a specimen ornamental tree farm here in St. Helena Island, SC and move our own farm equipment all the time so very familar with handling your tractor. Would be going to outside Nashville to pick up my cousin and also move some cars for my family's auto dealership. Let me know if you have any further interest. Thanks, Duane Julian (8/10/2008)
Response: Delivery of tractor has been delayed until Saturday. If interested for delivery on Saturday let me know a price. (8/11/2008)
Response: Thanks for your reply. We're still making plans and will be glad to stay in touch. Saturday may be a possibility and was thinking $250.00 was a reasonable price. Thanks and feel free to contact me anytime. Duane Julian (8/11/2008)
Question: Hi, I may be interested if pickup could be on 14th, 15th or 16th? I am a legal FMCSA licensed Motor Carrier with COMMERCIAL cargo ins. Please review my feedback. Thanks (8/10/2008)
Question: do you still need this done ? i have another haul going the same way ,so i need to know asap . (8/10/2008)
Response: Sorry we could not connect. Accepted your bid but have not heard from you as far as pickup. I will have to persue another shipper if I don't hear from you. (8/11/2008)
Response: you never hit the accept button on uship you must not understand uship.i left a message on your phone that you left the number for on the question and answer deal.you have to accept the bid and then the info is sent to me . (8/11/2008)
Response: I realized that about hitting the Accept button. I think the problem is your bid expired yesterday and that is probably why you did not see my click of the Accept button. I looked at the Uship site last night at around 9:00 pm and your bid had expired. Apparently the whole site is based on Central Standard time, not Eastern Standard Time. So you are not going to be able to pickup? I can not do it any other day this week. Please advise. (8/11/2008)
Response: i can not pick up today . i can tuesday . you do not have to be with me for pickup all i have to do is setup times with the seller for pick up . (8/11/2008)
Response: I will not be here, will be in Philadelphia. I fear it would be very difficult to load and unload tractor by yourself. (has shuttle shift feature that might be new to you) Also the delivery address is out in the country, and has no mailbox or street address posted. It is just a field of weeds. All I could do is give you directions. Might be better to do it next Saturday (I'll be back from Philadelphia) or one day next week. What do you think? Would you be available Sat or next week? (8/11/2008)
Question: Hello and goodmorning to you. I will be in Atlanta with a load this week and could use this for a back haul to KY. THANKS! (8/11/2008)
Question: Will this fit on a 16 foot carco trailer? George. (8/11/2008)
Response: Yes 16ft should not be a problem. I had a bid of $220 from a fellow that was supposed to pickup today but have not heard from him...so if you want to bid please do.. Looks like the shipment my be delayed until Friday or Saturday. (8/11/2008)
